We stayed overnight at this Travelodge before driving to Cornwall. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. There was some exterior noise due to being close to the services and the M5 but we did not find this a problem. Would like a hairdryer in the room though. NB breakfasts supplied by the Bar... More

Staff friendly, travel lodge could have been cleaner (son found a previous occupant's picked off false nails all over the floor in the room and we noted the same black drinking straw on the floor in the corridor from when we arrived on the Thursday to when we left on the Sunday so no sign of any cleaning there then!)... Lovely clean hotel. Friendly staff and nice and quiet. We were travelling down to Newquay and broke up our journey by staying here, it's location from the M5 makes it really practical. Very good value for money.

We stayed for 3nights and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. It had been recently decorated but the hallway smelt musty and the carpet badly needed changing. But we weren't sleeping in the hallway, so it wasn't a problem, just an observation, I'm sure it will receive a complete overhaul eventually. Staff were friendly and helpful. I still wish... More

Myself and my relative stopped here for a one night stay on our way to Cornwall. The beds were comfy and the room was clean with an adequate sized tv. The room did get a little warm during the night but that was solved with a fan which was supplied. Some of the reviewers had stated that they found it... More

Stayed at the travelodge recently on a journey down to Cornwall. Rooms were tired and needed updating. Breakfast service was poor, with the same person responsible for taking the orders, relaying them to the kitchen and making the hot drinks. Chaos! Dining area had not been swept at breakfast and was filthy. Go elsewhere.

Easy to find, clean, helpful staff, comfortable rooms (although mattress harder than we are used to at home). Perfect for what we needed Convenient Bar and Grill right next door for great food. They got us a ground floor because of the mobility issues in our party.

10 of us stayed over on route to Cornwall. It has been renovated since we last stayed there and was very nice. Makes such a difference. Receptionist was lovely, bar staff said wasn't as friendly but she was ready to finish up for the night so probably wanted shut of us can't blame her really. Breakfast was very nice.

Idealy located just off the motorway, even though minimal sound from our room could be heard of the traffic. corridors smelled damp. friendly staff, extractor in the bathroom did not work. room felt stuffy so we got a fan from the reception no problem. would go again

Another travelodge that is what it means a place to stay when travelling. Staff are friendly but room was poor apart from bed. It's off the m5 so you have the services right by you if you need stuff. There is a pub connected to it but be aware if you pay for breakfast as it comes on a box... More
