Stayed one night at the newly re-vamped Travelodge at Exeter Services. How nice to see that this very convenient location has been brought back to a good standard. Last time we stayed there it was very run down and in much need of a facelift so when we heard it had had a makeover we decided to return and were... More

I have stayed in quite a few Travelodges and this one is as good as any, low cost, convenient, clean and comfortable. The person on reception was polite, freindly and welcoming. The only downside of this one was the road noise.......as you would expect at such a busy intersection. In hot weather with the window open, it is difficult to... More

We stayed at the Travelodge on route to Cornwall from Kent. The check in was straight forward (parking was free). The staff were friendly throughout our stay. A young man called Kris (about 8pm) couldn't do enough for us, he was very pleasant and always was willing to help. The room was clean and tidy with good facilities. The only... More

Arrived on 7th August and was checked in by a wonderful bloke (Kris - northern person with long hair on one side), he was very pleasant and was informative. We stayed for just one night as we was going Cornwall on holidays. The room was clean and the restaurant next to Travelodge was good. The motorway can be heard but... More

travelling with the family, this was the second stop on our roadtrip to cornwall. After a warm welcome ,we found our room to be UPSTAIRS (again) There was a comfy bed,and clean bedding. In the bathroom were 4 towels, spiders web(missing spider thank god) behind the door, and a disgusting shower curtain. On the plus side there were plenty of coffee and tea sachets. BUT........ More

My husband and I booked the hotel a few weeks before our stay and were pleased to get a room with continental breakfast for £51.60 a night. Having used quite a few different Travelodges over many years, we were not expecting very much. We're pleased that it was much better then expected and incredible value for money. We were given... Stayed at the hotel several years ago and vowed never to go back. The rooms were dirty and shabby, staff unhelpful Decided to give it another try following the re-fit. What a pleasant surprise, the rooms were clean, well maintained and staff very friendly. They even put a fan in the room.

My daughter and I recently stayed here for one night, using it as a base to visit Exeter. The hotel is located just off the M5 but is remarkably quiet. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast in the restaurant/pub on site was perfectly adequate for our needs. I was pretty peeved to receive a £100 bill for parking on... More

Very little sleep because of thinness of curtains. Apparently the hotel was recently refurbished & they threw out the old thick ones & replaced them with thin ones. There was a bright light outside my room which didn't help, but the daylight came straight thro' anyway after about 5.30. Nice, good value breakfast, but awful, desperately weak cappuccino, over-priced @... More
