My wife and I, taking our son back to University were looking for somewhere central to stay. The Park Hotel was an excellent choice, in a quiet location and only ten minutes walk to the Cathedral. We have stayed here more than once - the only reason we haven't been recently was that we left it too late to book the family room when passing through Exeter. Wow, this place looks like it hasn't been refurbished in 40 years. First some positives... Great location, friendly owners, quick, easy and convenient as a bed for a short stay. This B&B type hotel is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk to downtown and the cathedral. It is well worth the very resonable rate they charge. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and they offer rooms with ensuite washrooms. A full breakfast is included. I would highly recommond this small hotel... more
