What can I say? another fantastic stay at the Crossways Tavern, Easy to book (laterooms) and Sheila emailed quickly with confirmation. I Emailed to request sandwiches on arrival and milk (for my baby) and some soft drinks, as we were arriving late in the evening..... not a problem,(added to our final bill of course), Room was very clean and comfortable,... Stayed here for one night on our way to Cornwall. The hostess, Sheila, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable was quite taken back for the price. Two adults and two children aged 11 and 3 were in my party and for £60 I thought it was very good value for money, will definitely go back again.

We stayed here on the 3rd August and found Crossways to be nice and quiet, pleasant and affordable. Our unit had two rooms, one with a double bed and small toilet/shower off it and the other, with a sofa bed and kitchen facilities as well as a small dining table. For the price charged, we thought it excellent value for... More

Myself my partner and 2 children stayed at the Crossways last week for the week. We want to start by saying that this is a great place to stay as most attractions we wanted to visit where only an hour away in most directions. The apartment was ideal for the family with separate rooms for adults and children to sleep... More

We stayed on a Friday night on our way to St Ives. Sheila was so welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable and modern! The bar next door is very reasonably priced, and Shelia even brought our tea over to us. We will definitely be staying again and would recommend the Cross Ways Tavern. Thank you Sheila

My partner and I booked into Crossways Tavern as we had a hot air balloon ride early the next morning (6.30am) close by. This was the perfect place to stay as we could just get up and make our own breakfast before we had to leave. Sheila is a great hostess. The room was just right for us, very modern... More

We used the Crossways as a stop-over for one night for a graduation ceremony at the University of Exeter in January. The accommodations were ideal - well presented and welcoming, two rooms providing sleeping for four with a small kitchen area too. The landlady was most helpful before and during our stay - particularly when we got lost in the... More

We stayed at the Crossways Tavern as we were spending three days at a trade fair in Exeter. The accommodation, which consists of bedroom plus a kitchen/lounge/diner and is spacious and very clean and welcoming. The Crossways is not really for holidays as it is quite out of the way but is absolutely perfect for business or a stopover in... More
