Have stayed at the White Hart Hotel many times and through many corporate owners. Marstons are now at the helm and its still great value for a great central location and as it's usually because of a function or party we stay, the breakfast is 'top notch'. to sort us out the following morning! Great staff ethos also

Lovely quaint Pub/hotel. Approx 5 minute walk from city centre shops. Rooms are a little plain and basic, the TV doesn't work properly, can't get all the channels I would have liked and the rooms smell a little, I think that's the building though! Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. For the price I would stay again. The pub food was... More

Stayed 2 nights for a friend's wedding in Exeter. The stairs and corridors looked slightly dated and tired in parts, but were clean and tidy. Looked like our room had been refurbished in the last year or two. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower in the ensuite bathroom. (Although the shower screen wasn't that effective against... More

White Hart is a hotel with a good price-quality balance, but don't expect to be at a palace, specially if you stay at the old area. Very limited breakfast options, very noisy shower and average bed. But all in all, location is very good and price very reasonable, so you can't complain much. The adjacent pub and tavern serves good... More

Very old inn in a central position for visiting Exeter and at a reasonable cost. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. All rooms are decorated and furnished to a good standard and rooms in the modern block are a generous size, beds reasonably comfortable but basic. Rooms overlooking the side street are subject to early morning noise when the... More

I always stay here when in Exeter. The rooms are far from luxurious, but the parking is free and the traditional breakfast is just perfect. The bar is great, food fine and the location central. The staff are really friendly and there is nothing negative I can say.

We were on the 4th floor (408) of the newer part - when I say "new" I mean updated sometime around 1983 and it shows. Classic polystyrene ceiling tiles and heaters that could be in a museum. My husband enjoyed the quirkiness but I felt the dingy 5th floor mouldy ceilings that you could see were a bit creepy and... More

We chose the White Hart Hotel because it had history, was very close to the Exeter Cathedral, and had car parking. The hotel turned out to pleasant with very friendly staff and was not too expensive. It also turned out to be not far from the centre of Exeter itself. The one drawback was that the food served here was... More

I was in the older part of the pub/ hotel found the room to be clean and comfortable and well decorated. The usual provisions in place I.e. Tea coffee hot chocolate biscuits. Soap etc provided too. The room also had a fan and a hairdryer. Had a few drinks in the bar which was cosy even though it's a large... More
