Chose hotel due to other member reviews and parking facilities close to city! The location is good, although on a main road, we didn't hear any noise from the traffic. The area surrounding hotel was a bit shabby which was a pity as the hotel has been repainted to stand out from the rest of the houses in the street!... more

A warm welcome was given on arrival which is always a great start. Our room, the family room, (and I believe all the rooms) have been fairly recently refurbished to a very good standard, with plush carpets and a fresh/modern shower room. I stayed at this hotel a few years ago, and to be frank it wasn't all that good. However, since the new owners took over last year, it is much better, and I'd recommend anyone who wants a good quality hotel in Exeter to stay here. more
