Stayed for two nights in the family room with two adults friends. Room clean, well maintained and comfy beds. Small but useable bathroom. Excellent breakfast and great value for money. Nearby free parking. Excellent location only five minutes walk from the city centre shops and restaurants means I would not hesitate to stay again.

We chose The Clock Tower because of its location and we weren't disappointed with this. The Kingsize room was a little worn but being on a corner had two big sash windows letting in loads of light. However in late October by 6pm the room was freezing!! I thought a shower would warm me up but despite playing with the... More

Stayed in this hotel for one night 19/09. Guy (with a beard) behind reception was polite, friendly and welcoming. Checkin was swift. I stayed in a twin. Room clean and bed comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities and TV in room. Couldn't fault it. Breakfast service was excellent. Really friendly waitress and they accommodated my request for gluten free toast!!... More

We stayed here the night as a stop off on our way through to Cornwall. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the young chap in reception who also gave us a map if the city and some great recommendations for places to eat and visit, from the places he recommended we went to the rust bike, great beer... To get the negative over first - the twin room really was tiny! REALLY tiny. Barely room to walk round beds and suitcases. BUT - in mitigation - the hotel was clean and bright, beds were comfortable, traffic noise was no problem and the shower was great. Good breakfast, helpful staff, brilliant position to access Exeter and with parking nearby.... More

Myself and my sisters and nieces and a friend all stayed the night celebrating my hen do. The hotel itself had no off street parking but when we checked in we were given a permit to park on the road outside so no worries there. Once inside the rooms were very clean and tidy and the staff very friendly. The... More

Small rooms with all you need ,rooms on top floor are up a lot of flights of narrow stairs .More b&b than Hotel .Breakfast area is small and would not suit large groups. Location is good, but if on top floor seagulls can be very noisy from very early in the morning as not much sound proofing

An OK hotel in a convenient location, check-in was friendly and polite, the rooms are not huge and storage space is tiny, but they have all you need and are comfortable. As noted in other reviews the hotel is close to a main road and has no parking but we managed to park locally. The only negative was being told... More

After my other Exeter booking fell through, I managed to secure a last-minute room here. I wasn't expecting much after I read the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Positives: - location: excellent, only a few minutes walk from Exeter Central station and around 10min to centre of Exeter and the Cathedral - friendly helpful staff - nice clean simple... More
