10 minutes walk from city centre, 20 from university campus. Parking not a problem in local streets with permit. Friendly, competent manager. I didn't find the decor dated but our twin room - no 14 - was the smallest I've ever seen at approx 11 ft by 7.5 plus a small alcove containing a clothes cupboard. The small bathroom was... More

I stayed here for just one night. It's in a beautiful Georgian style home and more like a B&B, most of the rooms are upstairs. There isn't an lift, so don't come with heavy luggage that you need a porter to take your bags to your room. The staff will help though if needed. My room was cozy and clean.... More

Whilst I agree with other reviewers that the rooms and facilities were slightly dated, what is decor really? The room was perfectly clean, one of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in, the staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was perfect. The hotel is very well located for a visit to Exeter and we were very comfortable for our whole... More

The hotel is in a good central location for Exeter. However, we felt our bedroom was very tired, considering we had paid for a large double. I don't think I have ever seen such out dated and washed out bed linen in any hotel. I have seen better in a charity shop. Also the curtains, were just about hanging up... More

The hotel is located a 10 min walk from the high street and a 10/15 min walk from the main railway station. There is a bus stop just across the road. Plus sides: Good location, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and, if you face on the back of the building, quite quiet (no noise... More

Stayed 1 night b&b so we could visit Exeter for the 1st time. Made very welcome on arrival and given local information. Only a short walk into the city centre, lovely clean city. The quayside is worth a visit, quaint shops and plenty of bars and eating places. The hotel is very clean and well presented. Breakfast was well presented... More

We stayed for two nights and had pleasant stay. Neat and clean rooms. Good helpful staffs. Decent breakfast. Only con is a bit noisy due to old Delors but otherwise pleasant stay. Very near to both St David's and central stations. So ideal for public transport links to and from Exeter

I stayed there for a couple of nights for a conference and had a pleasant stay. The decor was a little dated, but the rooms were very clean and the breakfast excellent. The staff was very helpful. The only slight downside was that the rooms were a little noisy. That said the hotel was a small and quiet one, so... More
