Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you might want & more (nice shower & fresh milk in the room). Very welcoming and a grand breakfast, all at a reasonable price. Highly recommend and worth the walk up from Clovelly.

We stayed here after a fairly tough day's walk from Westward Ho.Our host was welcoming and our room well - equipped and very clean but rather small. We were offered a lift down to the pub but decided to walk both ways as it was a fine evening. Breakfast was fairly average with little choice and no fresh fruit which... More

We stayed in this lovely B&B whilst on a 3 day break, walking the South West Coast Path. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was great and the hosts were friendly and very accommodating.

Very friendly hosts even though we arrived later than planned. Room fine with big shower. Breakfast OK. About a 20 minute walk from the South West Coast Path. Grandfather clock in dining room rang every 15 minutes but wasn't too loud. Would happily stay here again.

I stayed here for one night in September during my solo walk on the SWCP. I was so glad that I did. The overnight accommodation was excellent in every respect. Mr and Mrs West were both very welcoming and considerate. As part of their service they offered (and I accepted!) a lift from Higher Clovelly down into Clovelly for an... More

We were walking the South West Coast Path and Clovelly was an obvious stop. Great welcome and excellent breakfast. We decided to walk down to Clovelly for a pub dinner which is nearly a mile with a climb back of 400 feet or so. The landlord will give you a lift but in the dry the walk does you good.

We were in the area for a family wedding and booked the double en-suite room for two nights. On arrival at 10:00 pm on the Friday night, we received a warm welcome from Chris and Sylvia and were shown to our lovely room. Our bed was very comfortable and everything you would want was provided. Excellent shower and en-suite. Breakfast... More

My dad and I arrived here simply by turning off the A39 at the next exit by the time it came to select a place to sleep, and we hit the jackpot. Sylvia and Chris really make an effort to create a great experience on the basis of their excellent facilities. We got advice on where to eat, got picked... More

We had a lovely stay at this B&B, and our room was well furnished. The water pressure is good so I had the best shower I've had in a long time. Chris and Sylvia were very welcome hosts and the breakfast was great.
