We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours at the Trewarmett Inn a few years ago. Good beer , good food, and an acoustic guitar available if you felt like it. Unfortunately it has since closed. If someone buys and re-opens I will be sure to visit or stay in the future. Shame. ps Lovely view from the back garden... More

Comfortable place to stay for a one nighter. We had a tiny double bed on the top floor, the room wouldnt of been suitable for anybody that was tall. Nice and quiet with a good view. Food ok, pretty basic and no dessert menu. It would be nice if there was a menu for breakfast to see what was offered... More

The rooms are basic but have beautiful views and the most comfortable bed, ever! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and it was no problem to have it served outside (sunny morning). Sunday roast, home cooked, fresh veg and great value. My husband informs me the real ales are served to perfection :) All in all a good overnight stopover on... More

Have stayed at the Trewarmett Inn over the last 6 years. Always been friendly, clean and good food. We were really looking forward to going there again. Has changed ownership. Spent 2 nights here in July - room was clean but was not serviced during our stay. New owners not friendly, pub and dining room not kept clean, at breakfast... More

I stayed here with a friend of mine for one night only last month, and the best way to describe this place? WOW! I wish we could have stayed for a week - it would have been more than worth it! I'll be fair, when we arrived there were a lot of local drinkers in the bar area, and there... More

Family of 5 ( all adults ) rented a house for a week we decided to try this place as it was recommended in the owners "bible" as a great place to go for local food. When we arrived we were cautious about entering as the outside areas could have done with a bit of TLC, however we decided to... More

I'm shocked by the review stating it was the " worst meal ever". The staff were attentive and asked more than once if everything was ok!! The above reviewer clearly forgot he/she could have stated he/she was unhappy during their visit. To state the 200 year old pub was not clean or comfortable was not very gracious either, clearly just... More
