Room was lovely - small but very clean and upgraded. Great location. Wonderful staff. Very quiet. Great place to watch the sunset and the food is amazing. Moules and Farmers Pie. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for just one night, partly because, at £90 per night, it is rather pricey. However, the location is stunning and place is very popular with locals and holidaymakers. The service is friendly and eeficient and the food is good, the portions are mega! The ale is also very good. The walk to tintagel is an ideal way of... More

Have just returned from a 2 night break at the Port William Inn. When booking we were looking for a comfortable place to stay with views of the sea. The Port William certainly met our expectations. The views are simply breathtaking waves crashing over the rugged coastline turning to a lovely stretch of sand when the tide goes out. Are... More

We have visited Port William many times over the past few years for meals and drinks, and we have never been disappointed. Sitting in the conservatory out the front, watching the world go by, especially on a warm day, is a must. The food is served superbly and is delicious. The choice on the menu is excellent. We added an extra day to our week in Cornwall and stayed at the Port William. Exceptionally helpful staff, a lovely room with a view over the bay ( as all 8 rooms have) at a steal of a price. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well presented. The bathroom was a good size and well equiped with toiletries. Breakfast... More

Went to the Port William for our 10th anniversary over 29thFeb/1st March. The hotel was sparkling clean in a fantastic location, the bed was comfy and Room 7 was just the right size with an amazing view. The food was excellent and all of the staff are a credit to the owners. I know that you can't control the weather... More

Stayed for a weekend with wedding party. The room (3) was fantastic, tastefully decorated, spotless and lovely view. The whole weekend was made even more special by staying at this lovely hotel. All the staff were charming and helpful. The menu is comprehensive, reasonably priced and very good quality whatever you choose. Will definately return.

Came here after a wet and windy day exploring Cornwall! It was 3pm out of season and we were welcomed by really friendly staff who took us through the lighter afternoon menu. The pub was full of people chilling and reading newspapers as the weather got worse outside. We had a couple of jacket potatoes washed down with a very... More

Though we are locals, we only live 15 miles away, and have eaten at the Port William many times in summer, always sitting outside to enjoy the fine views over the beach, this is the first time we have enjoyed an overnight stay, and in winter too. What a delight, welcoming staff, so friendly manager, cosy room, so comfy bed,... More
