We've stayed at Cottage Teashop at least once a year for the last 10 years. We always feel like we're visiting friends. Nothing is any trouble for Sandi & Vic, breakfasts are huge, I can only manage 1 per stay, I asked once if they could leave the sausage off (hoping to 'downsize' my breakfast) mistake, I got extra bacon... Vic and Sandy have been innkeepers for a very long time and it shows in every dimension of their efforts in Tintagel. The exterior is deceptively small for the room we had was quite capacious, comfortable, tastefully appointed and replete with all we needed. Despite a Force 12 gale blowing outside, we heard only rain patter on the counter panes.... More

Stopped here one night whilst walking the coastal path with my dog. Absolutley the most comfortable stay I had, despite the interesting plumbing, and extremely welcoming and helpful hosts. Easy for a dog to be at home. Rarely does a B&B have both a wonderful mattress and perfect pillows :-) Breakfast great - and had gluten free toast too! Definitely... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and would like to say what a fantastic time we had. Sandy & Vic are the nicest people you would ever wish to meet. Me, my son and his dog were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered and that was the case until we left. The breakfast was amazing and nothing... More

Vic and Sandy have a superb B&B. Very cosy, very welcoming, and great breakfasts. A smiling face and a welcoming pot of tea on our return from a day out makes all the difference. We've stayed with them roughly every other year for about 20 years, and everything is perfect every time. My only regret is they gave up evening... More

Sandy and Vic make you feel welcome from the very first moment. Upon my arrival they brought up to my room a tablet full of biscuits and tea and did so every time I came back from a trip. The room was very clean and absolutely cosey. Sandy and Vic are so friendly and will happily provide you with any... More

This is not the 1st time we have stayed with Sandy & Vic & it definitely won't be the last!! This is our 7th year coming to Tintagel. We visit at least 3 times a year & never want to go home. Sandy & Vic will move heaven & earth to meet your needs should it be something different for... More

My wife and I have stayed in Bed and Breakfast establishments back home in Canada on numerous occasions, but none compared to our stay at The Cottage Tea Shop in September, 2012. Our good friends, Anne and Alan Hobdey booked this charming place ahead of time in order to get two of four rooms available for the four of us.... More

We had a fab night here towards the end of our hols. Vic and Sandy are prefect hosts, the B&B is lovely, rooms are well arranged, clean and well looked after and the breakfast was tasty, massive and by far the best one of the hols. Cant recommend too highly. We would definately stay again.

I agree with the previous reviewer - what can you say when everything is perfect?! Sandy & Vic are the perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming and a waiting cup of tea after a day out was a definite bonus! The room was clean, warm and comfortable and the breakfasts are superb! I defy you to eat it all, we... More
