This review is way overdue and apologies to Sandy and Vic for leaving it so long before officially thanking them for making us so welcome at the end of a long days walking along the South West Coast Path from Crackington Haven. The B&B was recommended to us by another B&B owner and more genuine generous hosts you couldn't meet... More

We found this place by accident having tried a few of the hotels in Tintagel that are dog friendly, but they were all fully booked. One of the landlords recommended Sandy and Vic. We booked in with no upfront payments and when we arrived Vic came out in the rain to show us where to park and how to get... More

What a wonderful place. The owners, Sandy and Vic, really know what they are doing here. They may not have many rooms (or much of an online presence as I stumbled across these folks completely by accident), but they make up for that with comfort. Not all of the modern touches, but the rooms have a comfortable bed, cosy athmosphere... More

On the spur of the moment we decided to 'pop down' and experience this unique little village for a day. We spotted The Cottage Tea Shop shortly after arriving and were delighted to discover that Sandy and Vic had the perfect room for us. They quickly helped us plan an itinerary that allowed us to make the most of our... More

Myself and my partner stayed here in May with our cavalier King Charles and LOVED it, so much so we have booked to return for new year. Nothing was too much trouble, the room was perfect and we booked at short notice but had the warmest welcome with a pot of tea and lots of helpful local knowledge. The breakfast... More

Sandy and Vic are such a friendly couple. Nothing was too much trouble and they are very attentive. The breakfasts are beautifully cooked and fulsome. The room was very comfortable excellent value for money and we will definitely return soon. Always a lovely tray of tea in the afternoon when we had returned from our days out. They are such... Vic and Sandy are the most welcoming couple I have ever met. They are so attentive and friendly and put on a wonderful service. The room was very quaint and may not suit everyone's design tastes, but comfortable never the less. Definitely excellent value for money and I certainly would stay again.

We've stayed at Cottage Teashop at least once a year for the last 10 years. We always feel like we're visiting friends. Nothing is any trouble for Sandi & Vic, breakfasts are huge, I can only manage 1 per stay, I asked once if they could leave the sausage off (hoping to 'downsize' my breakfast) mistake, I got extra bacon... Vic and Sandy have been innkeepers for a very long time and it shows in every dimension of their efforts in Tintagel. The exterior is deceptively small for the room we had was quite capacious, comfortable, tastefully appointed and replete with all we needed. Despite a Force 12 gale blowing outside, we heard only rain patter on the counter panes.... More
