From arriving to see the Bentley with the 3 month out of date tax disc and the door knob hanging off the main entrance door, along with the building bieng a mess told me either they are in trouble or they certainly do not re- invest in the business, It got worse we were shown to our room, to say... more

I have not stayed at the hotel but spent time there twice now. Last year at new year and this year before new year! Our dear friend John Dalton was playing the harp on both occasions. My experience of the castle has been one of friendliness, love, and more. It seems to me, the people (and there are many) that... more

The staff at this hotel are excellent, the location is superb. the food was very good. You get a welcome drink and the owner will come round at dinner and speak to everyone. The views from the dining room are some of the best you can have. The interior is true Victorian Gothic and not unpleasent, although some rooms have been... more

We found the hotel on the internet and could not believe that it could be THAT bad as described by some tripadvisors. We were wrong! We did not expect a very posh hotel, tough, but were still shocked when we saw it. The rooms had not been changed since the 70ies, the blanket on the bed and the carpet were... more

Apart from the wondrous views of some of the most striking coastline our fair land has to offer, it is well worth indulging in the creativity at Camelot afforded by Ted Stourton, the artist who is co-owner of the establishment. Enjoy the many works around the hotel from this fine and prolific artist or take time to join one of... more

Lets start with a postive - the views are stunning and unrivaled, would love to wake up and see that coast line. Now on to the hotel itself... We inquired about staying here a few months ago as the web site and location were great, and had overseas family visiting, we wanted somewhere special. Luckily we asked to be shown... more

The three of us had a wonderful relaxing holiday away from problems and stresses of life, my wife was recuperating from a stroke, suffered on 22/08/09, this break has renewed her faith in friendship. We made some new friends which we hope will continue for a long time, oh! and by the way the food and accommadation together with your... more
