A very pleasant stay at this comfortable hotel. Lovely welcome and great view from the bedroom. The dog is a knockout! Well worth a visit. We would love to return. Staff are extremely helpful. Thank you.

this place has been a good surprise. The day was sunny and the hotel is the middle of green and allowed an incredible view over the ocean.we even managed to play - and enjoy - minigolf in the sun. We were given family room - a big two room place - very nice and cosy , with 2 beds in... More

A visit to Tintagel one Sunday in July with friends and it was warm. We decided to lunch and there seemed to be quite a few people with similar ideas. Then we remembered that at Bossiney, on the road from Boscastle to Tintagel there was a lovely hotel who advertised Sunday Lunch. We arrived and they fitted us in. It... More

Stayed here during our West Country journey. This hotel is set in amazing grounds with amazing, stunning views. I slept with the curtains open just to wake up to that view. Owners were very friendly and talked about the local area. We had a swim in the pool and met their gorgeous dog, Cragan, he was great, a lovely dog.... More

My husband and I chose to stay again at the Bossiney House Hotel. We have been staying for eight years at this family run hotel, with its friendly hosts and deliberately chose it for our Silver Wedding! This is not a 'city chain hotel' but its character and staff are a definite draw year after year, I am astonished, and... More

It's basic accommodation, food and service. Don't get all the 5 star feedback. The rooms were rundown and colorless. The weather was awesome though. As for the manager feedback - maybe he shd listen instead of responding like he has. As visitors from 'over the pond', I guess we expect a better lever of service.

Just got back having spent 5 days at Bossiney House. The hotel is conveniently situated within easy level walking distance to the centre of Tintagel. It has lots of character and combines simplicity with comfort. The beds were very comfortable with classy white bedclothes and matching towels. There are stunning sea-views and lovely gardens with a plethora of flowering plants.... More

My wife and I spent a long weekend at Bossiney and wanted somewhere to dine which did not involve using he car (for obvious reasons) We noticed that the restaurant was open to non residents and so gave it a go The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming although not as slick as true hoteliers or restaurateurs However the... Our stay at Bossiney House Hotel was, regretfully, a wholly unpleasant experience, and I am puzzled by the glowing reviews and its 4-star label. I would welcome any justification supporting this accolade - according to standard guidelines Bossiney House Hotel just about makes 2 stars. The room was extremely small, tired and dated with chipped old pine furniture and a... More

My first encounter with this person was when serving at the hotel bar on a very busy Easter Good Friday evening. She elbowed her way through the clients at the bar and addressed me with: “You have to help us, we have a serious problem” As a hotelier, this is where you use your most reassuring demeanour (and prepare yourself... We visited this lovely Hotel and area last week for a 4 day break. We received a very warm welcome and were offered assistance to carry luggage to our room. This hotel exuded “Period Charm” and I fail to see how some reviewers can say that it is dated tired and dusty! Rubbish The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The... More
