Lewis's Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place for a weekend (or more) away in Tintagel. It's so conveniently close to Tintagel Castle and Merlin's Cave and boasts stunning views of the Cornish Seaside. Mr Lewis is the kindest and most welcoming host one could hope for and his rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish - and the breakfast is... More

We had arrived earlier than expected due to 6 1/2 hour long drive to Tintagel from NE Lincolnshire and John kindly said we could check in earlier which was fantastic and much needed. Its such a pretty English guest house with lots of antiques and both our rooms, one with a balcony and view, was beautiful, so pretty and clean,... More

Having read the reviews on trip advisor we booked this place, from the outside it is a very pretty little hotel, as you walk through the door you can smell cigarette smoke and both of us being nonsmokers this was very off putting.. The welcome was warm and we were shown to our room. The rooms are small, tired and... More

Thank you you for your comments,re the cigarette smell the bed and breakfast is a non smoking property,so I am confused as to the smell.the rooms as per the web site offer different size rooms so we let rooms as per length of stay, the rooms were refurbished in 2014 spring,a lot of the furnishings ( but antique) are old the... we have stayed at this b&b before and have never been disappointed and yet again john has excelled. His warm and friendly welcome immediately makes you feel at home and to be quite honest, you won't want to leave. The breakfast will keep you going all day, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals and juices and the best english cooked breakfast... More

Me and my mom were travelling in Tintagel and did not book a place in advance. By chance, we asked about rooms and were so happy that we chose this place. We stayed at Lewis`s B&B. just for one night but were really charmed by this wonderful place. The cottage is full of character and it was really quite, so... More

my husband and I stayed 6 nights here recently and really enjoyed our stay.Lewis's dates back to 1586 and the passage of time gives main floor of this home an old world feeling of warmth and coziness. Like a very old antique piece of furniture that develops a patina over time Lewis's is like that, and over the centuries it... More

I loved the place, it is full of character. Good welcome, comfortable sleep and a mammoth breakfast. Excellent location, yards from the centre of Tintagel and a short walk to the boundary entrance of the road to the castle. Kept it short, as I would just be repeating all the other reviews!!

We were lucky that John had a last minute cancellation and got the only remaining room. Lovely place, lovely situation, and MONSTER breakfast! John only takes cash payments, but there is an ATM just across the road. Thankyou John

We have just returned from a fabulous 4 night stay in Cornwall, where we were lucky to have found Lewis's B&B on Bossiney Road, Tintagel. It is a lovely house which is bursting with charm and character. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and John the owner could not be more accommodating and helpful. The... More
