We stayed just one night but would have loved to stay longer. The room we had was spacious, clean and well furnished. Tea and coffee was excellent the tea was loose tea and the was always fresh milk available and fresh fruit. Our children had a twin room and this was perfect for them especially the flat screen TV on... More

Ate here twice whilst staying at a B&B nearby. The best mussel pot we've enjoyed anywhere. Blackboard specials nightly, generous serves and cheerful and helpful bar and waitstaff. Enjoy a drink or two outside whilst the lovely Cornish twilight lingers and then enjoy a great meal in the company of locals and tourists, all enjoying this fabulous location. Plenty of... More

Stayed here in late March and early April - out of season and it felt like it! However despite the chill weather this is a pleasant place to stay. Had a quiet room overlooking the car park that was both clean and comfortable. Mentioning the car park reminds me that there is limited parking for hotel guests just around the... More

As bikers we often stop here in the summer, good excellent service lovely food and although peak season food was only a 20mins wait, all cooked fresh to your liking. Such a lovely picturesque place overlooking harbour. Tables full outside but in doors was just as nice.

This is really a pub with rooms. We had a suite which just about had a sea view. It was comfortable and I really liked the provision of Cornish tea in the room, also extra milk in the fridge on the landing and fruit. There were lots of windows in the room but being next to St Mawes's main car... More

Excellent location and very nice rooms with lovely antique furniture. We come to St Mawes a lot and therefore familiar with the pub but never stayed previously. Very helpful staff and good food. The breakfast is brilliant. Would recommend highly.

We booked a family room in April for a three night stay in July. When we arrived the room was very noisy and part of the wall and floor vibrated. This was due to being above the kitchen and a big extractor fan. When i politely asked about the noise I was told "what do you expect, it's a working... More

We called in over the weekend for a bite to eat. It was late afternoon, 4 ish so not too busy. The wait for food was about 20 mins - I ordered a ploughman's which was nice BUT firstly, it would have got 5 stars if they had made their own chutney instead of shop bought Branston's and secondly what... Stayed here for a couple of nights recently and we were pleasantly surprised by this small hotel which is, essentially, a pub with rooms. Although we had to take the last room available which was a twin room above the kitchen, the noisy fan below that we were warned about, wasn't a problem and certainly no worse than aircon. As...
