This was our first stay at Tresanton, but not in St. Mawes, which we know well having stayed at Driftwood and Idle Rocks (as well as family self-catering) over recent years. We booked at last minute just before Easter, and loved it (as we knew we would). So much so that some very dear friends are staying there this week... More

Must say the staff was first rate. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is done to high standard as far as eye appeal, cleanliness, stylish common areas and fabulous outdoor decking and patios. But fell short on value and the food. We were 5 people traveling through for three nights and so took three rooms of different styles. A large... More

This place is heaven! St Mawes itself is a lovely village and the Tresanton is superb. What sets it apart from other establishments is the attention to detail coupled with the best customer service I have ever experienced. The staff without exception provide a wonderful ambience where you feel as though nothing is too much trouble. They aren't obsequious in... More

All done in perfect contemporary taste and style from the cozy Dog's Bar, actually a private club that guests are made members of, not open to the public, to the grand terraces over the sea. It's like a perfectly decorated small Italian hotel on the Amalfi Coast but further north on the sea in Cornwall. Very friendly young international staff... More

We booked three nights in a suite following a popular hotel quality review programme where the Tresanton was shown as a quality hotel to emulate. The location is near perfect - the view of the estuary and Falmouth entrance from our room was wonderful. The ensuite bathroom is in need of updating -the floor tiles need to be replaced. We... My fiancé and I recently stayed for a few days and fell in love with this stylish and relaxing hotel. The views are stunning, the staff are courteous and professional and, overall, this beautiful hotel lives up to its reputation and beyond. Thank you for our fabulous time Tresanton!!

There is just nothing not to love about this beautiful hotel which boasts stunning views, gorgeous food and brilliant service from a friendly and professional team. The rooms are great ... All with individual styles but a consistent high level of cleanliness and quality..not to mention the jaw dropping sea views. We loved everything about this place and a had... More

From the moment I arrived, it's obvious that this hotel is exceptional in every way. My room in "the nook" had the perfect frontline sea view, interesting books to read, dvd's to loan, fresh fruit, handmade biscuits for my dog and the softest linen on the bed. The food was exciting, different, cooked perfectly and presented like a picture on... More

After 3 wonderful relaxing days at Hotel Endsleigh. We enjoyed a further 3 days at Tresanton, two different hotels but each blessed with excellent staff and an amazing taste in style. Visit the quay and buy a Fal Mussel card to enjoy the boat and ferry trips. Thank you for a lovely break.

When I first stepped into Hotel Tresanton I knew this would be the place I would come back to. Understared interiors, beautiful individual pieces of artwork and furniture. Utterly inspirational. Very expensive, yet worth every penny.
