A very relaxing stay in The Dairy at Roundhouse Barns. The accommodation is of a very high standard with a large kitchen with built in appliances, a living room with comfortable seating and a large TV (with sky) DVD player with a selection of films, small Hi Fi and an ipod stereo, bathroom with large shower and roll top bath... We stayed in Cockle cottage in the last week of July. We had a wonderful week of rest and relaxation. A beautiful cottage set in a tranquil location. We did not have the weather but this made no difference to our stay. It was such a lovely romantic break.

Hi Tracey - thanks so much for the lovely review of Cockle Cottage. We are glad you had a lovely restful and relaxing holiday. Hopefully next time you might see a bit more Cornish Sunshine without that cold wind! Best Wishes More

Stayed in B and B suite for 3 nights - very comfortable and good breakfasts, with a lot of variety. The separate lounge was a nice touch! Owners very nice and friendly. Had a great few days despite chilly wind and look forward to going back in the future

Glad you enjoyed your stay, the new breakfast room /lounge for the B&B Suite is proving very popular for those who like a bit of privacy during their stay. Hope to see you both again, perhaps when the weather has warmed up! More

An excellent location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The cottages are perfect, spotlessly clean and homely with good quality furnishings. Thank you Barbara and Mark for making us feel so welcome.

I stayed for 3 days in late Feb/early March in Cockle Cottage. It was wonderful, finished to a high standard, beautifully located, well equipped, spotless and welcoming! The location is superb - near wonderful beaches, scenic views, National Trust venues and pretty towns/villages. The Roseland is an unspoilt area of Cornwall and well worth a visit. This is an amazing... More

This was a last minute booking by ourselves, just to get away from the rat-race for a few days; And boy, did we get away. We were not sure what to expect when we arrived, sat nav took us to the door. the owners were out, but they had left us a lovely greeting card to welcome us and They... More

Thank - you Keith for those kind words, we are really glad you enjoyed your stay in Cockle Cottage. We love this area as it is one of the quieter parts of Cornwall but you are only an hour or so from St Ives, Lands End, etc, Falmouth, Padstow and the Eden Project are even closer. We look forward to... More

My wife and I stayed here back in August. The first week in the self-catering 'Cockle Cottage' and the final three days in the B&B part of the barns. Mark & Barbara were the most welcoming and helpful proprietors. The first week we spent there we were treated to the most amazing get-away in Cockle Cottage. Quiet, secluded and spacious.... More

I cannot over stress the importance of these reviews with people keep coming back to Roundhouse Barn Holidays you may think the owners would eventually drop the ball! I am most please to say this definitely not the case. The exceptional high standard of these cottages cannot be over emphasised and after returning many times we always leave refreshed and... More

We spent a wonderful weekend at the B&B of the Roundhouse Barns and I only wish it was longer - we could have stayed for a fortnight! Barbara and Mark are such warm and welcoming hosts (ably assisted by 2 lovely dogs) who made us feel instantly at home with scones and tea on arrival and plenty of advice on... More

We spend a day in the B and B of the Roundhouse Barn and it was absolutely wonderful. Barbara, Mark and the dogs were great hosts and made us feel right at home. We had just come from a horrible experience at a fancy, highly rated hotel and our stay at the Roundhouse replaced it with an environment of ease,... More
