We booked The Dairy for our mini moon and we were not disappointed. A beautiful cottage, immaculately presented with everything you could possibly need. Both the indoor space and the gardens are beautiful here and it's a wonderfully relaxed environment. Barbara makes you feel immediately at home and we were greeted with a lovely cream tea as well as a... More

We booked this B & B 3 months ago as my sister was celebrating a 'significant' birthday at a nearby hotel. What a find! The owners Barbara and Mike made us very welcome, we were offered tea and scones on arrival and shown to our lovely room The Minack. This is the smaller of the two rooms, however perfectly adequate... More

We had the smaller double room - the Minack, but I had already fallen in love with the place and booked it, as the larger room, the Fal, had already been taken - and that was some 3 months ahead! We had to unpack as we moved in, but we were staying for 5 nights, so that was fine. Plenty... More

We found this b & b on tripadvisor and due to the reviews booked it. The gardens were a marvelous entry to the house. Barbara greeted us with tea, scones, clotted cream and jam. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Fal room with a king bed and two setting chairs. The room had windows on three sides and was airy... More

There is really hardly any need to write this review as all the others say it all - beautiful location, very peaceful, set in lovely gardens. The two B&B rooms are of very high quality with extremely comfortable beds, comfy seating, dressing table, wardrobe and beautifully appointed ensuites, and a good selection of teas and coffee (decaf cafetiere included!). A... More

We just returned from a wedding on the Roseland Peninsula, and we stayed at the Roundhouse. What a wonderful place. Barbara and Mark oculd not have been more helpful and welcoming, even reuniting us with our car the morning after the night before! The breakfast was delicious, the attention to detail is exquisite, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and... More

My wife and I have just returned from a few days stay at Roundhouse Barn, St Mawes. Although 2 self catering cottages are also available, my wife and I were in the "Fal" room in the B&B. The standard of accommodation is extremely high, reflecting the amount of Barbara and Mark's commitment. The property is "high spec" and extremely comfortable.... More

Just back from two nights at Roundhouse Barn feeling thoroughly pampered! A beautiful location, and Barbara and Mark have thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Particularly enjoyed the cream tea on arrival served on the patio.

We both felt that we struck gold finding your B&B to spend the weekend at. We have never been made to feel so welcome, as we were at the Roundhouse. You have created the atmosphere of staying with family, but with all the perks of a top class hotel; free refreshments, ample choice of delicious food for breakfast, a spotlessly... More

Booked a last minute 2 night break for Easter weekend and we couldn't have booked anywhere better. Barbara and Mark were very thoughtful and attentive, served an amazing breakfast and recommended some lovely places to visit (would definitely recommend Alba restaurant in St Ives!). The rooms were very clean and have everything you possibly need :). Will be booking a... More
