We found Coast by searching for vegetarian accommodation in Cornwall. From the info on the website it sounded very good and we rang to make a booking. The owners were very friendly and helpful over the phone in providing info about arrivals, the restaurant, directions, which room was most likely to suit, etc. which made us feel very welcome and... Just returned from Coast B&B in Carbis Bay. We often stay at Coast and would not consider staying anywhere else in Cornwall. Gail, Paula, Kate and Katrina and their team of helpers do an excellent job in providing a first class b&b, at a very affordable price. The great things about this place is that the hosts are extremely welcoming,... More

run by an eccentric assortment of women, this is a little gem for those who enjoy their meals without any meat! We enjoyed nearly a week here and enjoyed the walk into to St Ives along the coast path - a marvellous way to discover a different side to the town, Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is... First, the good parts, breakfast very nice, lady who cooks and serves extremely friendly and helpful - makes you feel very welcome. Location fine and the place is generally clean. The bad parts, room not serviced, bathroom without heater (wet towels not nice, and they charge £1 per towel for replacements). with an unheated bathroom this made the bedroom smell.... More

We are disappointed to have had dissatisfied guests and would always take potential complaints as 'constructive criticism' and try to address any issue raised. On this occasion we have made the decision to put heated towel rails in the en-suites for drying towels and have ioniser/dehumidfiers available for any unexpected summer showers resulting in wet clothing. While we do not... More

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff of both Coast B and B and Bean Restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The food at the restaurant was great. The room had an excellent view, and the location is fantastic! We would definitely come again! From "the lords".. More

We had a wonderful relaxed week at Coast B & B. Our room was Great Willowherb, which had good a good view across the bay & the bed was very comfortable. Try a Morningbockerglory for breakfast...How can something that wickedly delicious be good for you...sets you up for the day ! Sometimes we ate at the Bean Inn, in the... More

On arrival we found no-one to welcome us, but our key had been left in an envelope in the porch. Unaware of this, we rang the bell and eventually were met by the chef from the Bean Restaurant which share these premises. Although friendly, she did not appear to have any interest in the B & B, so handed us... More

We are disappointed to have had dissatisfied guests and would always take complaints as constructive criticism and try to address any issues raised. On this occasion we will address things in the order they appear. Our location makes it very difficult for guests to specify exact arrival times so we offer flexibility with check-in times- early and late arrivals- but... More

We originally booked in for one night but quickly decided to stay for another. We had Great Willowherb room on the first floor which has a wonderful panoramic view of the sea - it was very hard to tear ourselves away to go and explore St Ives, a walk downhill of around 10-15 minutes. We decided to book for dinner... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was small but comfortable, well-decorated and good value for money. However, despite the good room, service let our general experience of this B&B down. Our room was not serviced in the day (i.e. bed made, bins emptied, cups/glasses changed etc.), which wasn't too much of a problem for us but would be... More

This vegetarian B&B has reasonably sized, clean rooms, with a good view (weather dependent). The attached Bean Inn does excellent, well priced, vegetarian food and provides the breakfasts. Vegan options also available. Short walk to the pub, or a slightly longer (10 minutes) to St Ives beaches. More
