My wife and I have just returned from a very enjoyable four night break at Channings. The hotel is very well situated not far from the centre of the town and, although the hills are steep, (the more so after eating in one of the excellent eating places in St Ives!) the car can be left in their private car... Myself and my girlfriend recently stayed at Channings and couldn't of been happier with our stay. The location is great, views are breathtaking, ample parking and the bedrooms are immaculate. The breakfast was with out doubt the nicest breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. Susan and Marcus made us feel really at home. I would highly recommed Channings... More

“A great place for a Easter break”

Spent a week over the Easter holidays staying at Channings. Susan and Marcus were very warm and friendly hosts, nothing was to much trouble, rooms spacious, clean and great views of the sea. The update in the dining room is bright and refreshing, a great choice for breakfast recommend the cooked mushrooms !! No need to use car as location... More

Susan and Marcus were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Lovely breakfast and nice sized family room. Great location just a few minutes into the town or the beach, which we could even see from our window. Very clean and beautifully decorated dining room. Car park at the back was a bonus too. Highly recommend to all.

Spent a lovely long weekend at Channings. Susan and Marcus could not have been better hosts for us and a small group of friends and children. Fantastic views from our immaculate family room. Plenty of space to chill out and a lovely breakfast. Lots of free parking and an easy walk to town and beaches. A really great place.

We stayed at Channings in October and we decided to return to celebrate the New Year with our kids. We have come to love Channings as it feels so homely and friendly towards children and has great views of the sea. You can park and forget about your car as everything is close (3min from St Ives harbour, train, restaurants... More

my sister and i had a short break here recently. what started out as one night turned into a four night stay,,hosts were great and made us feel very relaxed and welcome and breakfast was gorgeous especially loved the fresh fruit salad. would gladly return and recommend to all...thanks very much susan and marcus and wishing you all the best... Susan and Marcus, two wonderful hosts, made our stay quite memorable. We decided at 4 in the evening to go a week's vacation and started scouring for accommodation in St Ives and by 9pm we were on our way.
