Another lovely stay with Christine and David at this lovely friendly and homely B&B. Always a good breakfast - well done Dave! - and rooms warm and spotless. Usually able to park outside which is a bonus in St Ives. Will return again.

We were greeted by Christine and David who showed us to our room which was immaculately clean with an amazing view. Tea and coffee making facilities with chocolate biscuits and keys to come and go as we wished were a bonus. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Christine recommended restaurants nearby for an evening meal which turned out to be reasonably... More

I think this hotel is perhaps aimed at the older generation. As we hadn't booked and ventured down to cornwall on a whim, this wasn't our first choice but saw that they had vacancies in the window and we only needed to stay 1 night. As part of my job I often book hotels for colleagues so am well aware... More

We are not a hotel but a bed and breakfast and we feel that we do give good value for money and of course location is a factor. We welcome all age groups including children and apologise if you did not feel welcome. One night visitors are a normal occurrence for us, being close to the coast path we accommodate... More

We were very happy to stay at Crest o Wave and amazed and clean everything was! Bright and cosy room making your stay nice as well. Really comfortable bed. No mold in the bathrooms! Quiet ( only noisy seagulls but its the seaside charm!) and greatly situated just few moments from the beach. You can go to the town center... More

Lovely and clean B&B, facing the beautiful Porthmeor Beach, great location for walks. 5 minutes walk to town centre. Tasty breakfast cooked to your taste. Friendly owners. Great value for money. Highly recommended:)

Having stayed on the other side of St Ives for the last few years (on the Terrace just as you come in adjacent the bus station and the big train station car park), we decided this year that we were due a change and scouted out a few B&B's above Porthmeor instead. I can't really put my finger on why... More

Having lived in St Ives quite a while ago I do like to go back every coupleof years , staying at Guest houses, unfortunatly over the years there are less and less of them as they are being turned into holiday lets . However looking for one this year for myslef and two freinds I came across Crest-O-Wave and the... More

For any solo coast path walker I can recommend the single room as good value and the B&B well positioned. The single room does lack an en-suite but on the other hand there is a bath in the bathroom which is luxury after a hard walk on the coast path. St Ives is a good base for coast path walkers... We stayed at this lovely Bed and Breaksfast at the end of August and had a great time! The room had great sea views; the beach is just opposite and the Bed and Breakfast is also within walking distance of the town centre (8 minutes walk)! We could also go for walks very easily from the Bed and Breakfast and... More
