Please visit this B& B- It is what it says it is- a B&B. If the people who have written negative reviews wanted a 4* hotel, then they should have paid for one, (and if they wanted sea views they should also have paid for them, because they were available and were breathtaking !). I have just come back from... more

very friendly and helpful couple. Rooms a bit small and could do with updating but lovely and clean. Overall it was a good place to stay and very reasonably priced. Would definately recommend it and would go again. more

My Husband & I have just returned from 4 nights at The Hollies. We cannot praise the B & B highly enough, our room was fantastic with great views across the bay and into the Harbour, our breakfast was timed perfectly allowing for a stroll beforehand to work up an appitite for the' traditional english breakfast'. Our hosts Bev &... more

We recently stayed at The Hollies. We were told that our room "couldn't get any better" but we were shown to a glorified shoebox with a pokey bathroom. The walls were like paper. Friends of ours were on a lower level and said that when people upstairs walked around the light in their room shook. Breakfast was a disaster. Firstly,... more

Excellent small hotel in St Ives. Very friendly staff and very clean throughout. Lovely room and had a delightful view of the harbour. Breakfast really is as good as previous reviews say, hearty with plenty of choice. Location is as central as you could wish for and St Ives Bay is just a 10 minute walk away. There's no bad... more

My husband, two children and myself had a lovely relaxing two night stay in this b and b. The couple who run it Bev and Ian, were charming and nothing seemed too much trouble. The full english breakfast was fantastic and they catered for my daughter who is vegetarian. The hotel is very close to all the amenities. I would definitely... more

I think we have been to St Ives enough times to differentiate the good from the bad, and this was nearing the latter. To summarise: - a pokey room - it was a family room but I'm glad I wasn't cooped up with two kids in it - a pokey bathroom - you couldn't comb your hair in front of... more

We have just returned from a three nights stay at the Hollies Guest House - this is not a hotel but a guest house. The owners Bev and Ian are lovely people, with the comfort of their guests in mind at all times. Our room was very spacious with a beautiful sea view so it was well worth paying that... more

My family stayed at The Hollies from 20th July -23rd July, 2007 and we would not recommend it to anyone. Unless you are on your own, the rooms are not even big enough for couples and are very dated with the same size of shower you would get in a caravan. Basically they have tried to cram too many rooms... more
