We've stayed in St. Ives regulalry over ther last ten years but our normal B&B had stopped trading, however it was a delight to find this one instead. We arrived late on Friday night, however this was no problem. Our room was a small white double on the first floor, which was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with a cute... more

Following a stay 2 years ago I had no reservation in my choice of accomodation. The stunning views of Porthmeor beach are matched by the hospitality offered by Linda and David. Comfortable, spacious rooms, a fine breakfast, a home from home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was made to feel welcome and relaxed and I look foward to staying... more

This is our 4th visit to Monterey and every time we come away with a sense of relaxation and enjoyment. Linda & David are fantastic hosts who will always offer their assistance wherever they can. The breakfasts are scrumptious with plenty to choose from (the apple juice is a must!). The rooms are spacious and full of delightful touches with... more

We stayed for one night having booked at short notice. We had the only room available which, as it turned out, was the only one without a sea view which was possibly the only negative about our stay - however really our own fault for leaving it so late to book. The room was small but nicely decorated, clean and... more

My wife and I stayed for 3 Nights. The double room was as it appears on their website, had been refurbished to a comfortable standard with a mix of modern fittings sympathetic to a traditional house. The on suite was not the normal cupboard, It was spacious and warm with a large walk in shower. The bed was new ,very... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in the double room at the front of the house which had recently been refurbished in a delightful and elegant style. The view from the room was superb and all in all it was everything you'd want from a seaside bed and breakfast. Linda and David the owners were also very nice, friendly and helpful.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in this B&B late July this year for a long weekend. We stayed in the 'penthouse' room- large room on the top floor. The views were amazing, from the large bay window you could look out onto the whole bay (the b&b is positioned just behind the grave yard behind the Tate gallery- really close... more

Have stayed here about 6-7 times over the last 10 years for a week each July. Various family have joined us over the years. Fantastic location and walkable to all facilities in St Ives but especially Porthmeor & the Tate (2 minutes). Great views from the front. Easy access by road for loading/unloading & a car park across the road.... more

My Hubby & I have just spent 4 nights at the Monterey & would definitely stay again. David & Linda are lovely, very friendly & helpful & the guest house is gorgeous. We stayed in the bedroom at the front & the view was amazing, it is very clean & the breakfast was scrumptious (best scrambled eggs I've tasted). There... more
