The Headland House was absolutely fantastic ! We fell in love with this place from the moment we arrived. Mark and Fenella are truly great hosts and looked after our every need, the breakfast is amazing with a wide variety of choices. We run our own campsite and just prior to the season taking off decided we'd get away for a few days! We often go to Carbis bay as it is a just a couple of hours away and has everything we want close by - wonderful resteraunts and beutiful scenery with perfect beaches. Our usual hotel was fully booked so... More

A beautiful place to stay in the most amazing part of England. The rooms are lovely and beach themed, with absolutely wonderful views. We stayed in Porthcurno (number 6) it seemed smaller than the others we saw but that didn't make any difference to us at all. There was still plenty of room with us and our massive caseload of... Headland House is just incredible with a very warm welcome and homely touches. We arrived to be greeted with 'cake of the day' (coffee cake) and complimentary teas/coffees to enjoy in the 'Snug Room' or on the terrace overlooking the bay. We stayed in rooms Sennen and Cape Cornwall - Sennen had a wonderful sea view and Cape Cornwall had... More

We choose to stay at The Headland House, for our 10th wedding anniversary (after spending hours trawling the net!!looking for boutique hotels in the area), and we were not disappointed !!...we arrived prior to the check in time (sorry!),but gratuitously and without hesitation the hosts Mark & Fenella informed us our room 'Cape Cornwall' was ready &available , the room itself... We were recommended to stay at this bed & breakfast by a client who had stayed twice before, I'm so glad we decided to visit. The couple that own and run Headland House, Mark & Fenella, do a great job of making everyone feel welcome. The rooms are detailed to a very high standard, and during the day the house... More

The hosts - Mark and Fenella - made as feel incredibly welcome in their beautiful house. It was well equipped and they served the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. Along with the little touches (eg sweets in rooms & home made cake !!!!!) it made for a superb stay. Thanks to them both. As Arnie says, "I'll be... More

What a great experience and so pleased that we chose well. Fenella and Mark are friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. I had bottle of bubbly in room on my birthday and Mark even lent me his precious cooler to take it to beach! Breakfasts and room with view were also fantastic. Lots of classy touches around the place, most of... More

As always, Fenella and Mark were the perfect hosts, taking care of us, and spoiling my wife on her birthday with a bottle of bubbly. Breakfasts were, as always, fantastic, and there is just something about sitting on the outside decking in the afternoon with a coffee and cake (chocolate) that really cant be beaten. We always like the walk... More

Just back from 3 nights at Headland House. This B&B is just beautiful..the house is stunning!! Decor so calming and perfect attention to detail. Such a lovely touch of tea lights and candles which are lit in the evening setting the mood as you head out for dinner. Our room was 'Mousehole' on the top floor. The bedroom is small... More
