I take a trip down to St Ives twice a year just to chill out a bit; I've stayed with Andy and Emily at Tre-Pol-Pen on three occasions, and it's been brilliant every time. The room is clean, cosy and comfortable, and the cooked breakfast is fantastic.... just the thing to keep you going if you are out walking all... more

We've just got back from a 2 night stay at Tre-Pol-Pen, and we had a lovely time. The service was excellent, the owners, Emily and Andy, are lovely. The location is fantastic, and the room was very clean and tidy. Yes, the room was a little on the small side, but as with any holiday, you aren't there very much,... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tre-Pol-Pen during May 2008. You couldn't wish for better hosts. Breakfast lovely, and very clean throughout the house. I have since recommended Tre-Pol-Pen to my mum and dad, who also throughly enjoyed their stay. more

Fantastic stay, with wonderful hosts who were sensitive to our every need and made our stay as enjoyable as it was. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely clean and well loved. Breakfast was tremendous and kept us going till we went out in the evening. Tre Pol Pen is situated in a perfect place, as close as you can... more

I am a bit late in writing this review (considering my stay was over 7 months ago) due to a mixture of only recently finding the website as well as the time to write one! Where to start... well following the completion of exams, I was in need of some well-earned R&R, so I convinced my husband that we should... more

The owners were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. In particular the scrambled egg was exactly the way I like it. (Now, if you think the next sentence is going to start with "but" you'd be right.) But our room was uncomfortably small. The double bed was squashed up against the wall on two of its sides... more

Mr Neame booked the smaller of our double rooms for 2 people at the beginning of September, for £65 per room per night to include our scrumptious breakfast. Still being high season I would imagine that the price would have been an indication that we do not have large, luxurious rooms. Our rooms are clean, modern, fresh with all the...

From the initial call to book we knew that this would be a great stay. We booked it over the telephone, and within a few days we had a pack in the post containing detailed directions to the B&B and to the local car parks. Unfortunately as with most B&B's in St Ives there is no parking but this didn't... more

Both Sue and Graham are the charming hosts of this little gem situated right in the centre of the artist area of St Ives. Sues greeted us on the evening of our arrival from the Isles of Scilly and recommened a lovely Italian restaurant ont he sea front which is only minutes away. Our room was individually decorated with a... more

Booked in at Tre Pol Pen having viewed their helpful & informative website. You could not wish for a warm welcome; so friendly. This continued for the duration of our stay. We felt like friends of the family when we left! The rooms are light & have a very fresh "seaside" decor. Centrally located, which is ideal, although you will... more
