We stayed here recently for our post wedding 'mini-moon' and I think it is safe to say that we have mixed feelings. Positives first. The hotel is really near to the beach and to St Ives. Breakfast was really nice and it was fantastic to see the locally sourced ingredients were a real selling point. They knew it was our... More

We spent a couple of nights here on our honeymoon. The room was very cosy but it is a lovely hotel. All new fresh décor. The breakfasts are great, freshly made to order! Great location for the beach and the St. Ives 'centre'

If you are coming by car, be absolutely certain to read (and possibly memorise) the admirably detailed instructions provided by the hotel. The final approach is exhilarating and unforgettable! The staff at the Primrose Valley Hotel deserve the highest praise; they were hospitable, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel rightly prides itself on... More

Very modern hotel that was a pleasure to stay in, we stayed in room 2 with sea views and a balcony loverly, the hotel is only a 2 minute walk to train station and 5 mins to the centre of St Ives, don't worry the trains don't disturb you. Staff are very friendly, hotel is very clean and breakfast was... More

It's our second time here, and we really like the hotel. We stayed in a large sea facing room with a balcony and had marvellous views. It's lovely at night just listening to the waves. The location is great, we came by train, and everything is close by. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are delicious,... More

We have just returned having spent a fantastic week at Primrose Valley. We arrived early but our room was quickly prepared, Whilst Jake provided complimentary tea. Jake also helped carry our luggage to the room. The room had a King size bed, settee, table and 2 chairs, but still had lots of space. The en suite was good in size, for... More

We stayed at the primrose from the 18th to the 20th of July. We stayed in room number 1,which is the room with a patio area. The room it's self is quite small especially the bathroom you can't really have 2 people in there at the same time, but never the less every thing is in good working order. The hotel... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. After a long drive to St Ives and having struggled to find the hotel we were met by Jake who welcomed us with a much needed complimentary coffee. We immediately relaxed into our break in this lovely hotel. Our room was clean and well equipped with a little outside patio area. There was a good... More
