Oh dear, stayed here from Friday to Monday 18th to 21st July with wife, daughter and 2 grand-daughters. The chalet (shed) was filthy, smelly and lacking most of the mod cons we take for granted these days. Luckily the weather was beautiful so we were able to spend most of our time out and about. These chalets should be condemned... More

We went on a Sun newspaper break and the location was perfect as a base to visit the area and also my wife's family. Would I pay full price for this place, the answer would be no. We ate at the park one night and the food wasn't great. We should have gone to a local pub we had visited... More

Grim grim grim! I'd read the reviews so we knew not to expect much, but I was still surprised, and not in a good way. We took candles and tealights to make some sort of atmosphere, and thank heaven. We also took our own bedding so we wouldn't have to deal with that fresh horror too. Could have done with... More

Just had a week here in a gold lodge with my family. The lodge itself has pretty much everything you need to use as a base e.g well supplied kitchen .It comfortably accommodates 6 people at a push 8 and the location is excellent. Those for me are pretty much the only things going for it. The bedding must be 20... More

Cabin 124 Where, oh where do I start...? Arrived after a 7hr journey to find we had been allocated what can only be described as a shed !!! I got a sinking feeling just looking from the outside, once inside the place smelt damp and fusty. There was an inch gap at the bottom of the door which we had... More

Just spent a great week there in one of the lodges (171) yes we paid extra but was well worth it. We had stayed in the park 10 years ago in one of the chalets but from my memory they were basic but fine. Over the last 15 years plus we have stayed at many John Fowler parks and never... More

What a complete let down the holiday home was, NEVER AGAIN -disgusting, pictures in mag do not match what you get. I stayed in a gold woodland lodge and i dread to think what you get if you go for bronze. I paid well over £500 and this coming week would of been for over £1,000 STAY WELL AWAY!
