Very friendly B&B. Great central location on the harbour. Beautiful exterior, old-fashioned and quirky interior of this centuries-old building. Very generous, hard-working and helpful host Anita and amusing breakfast times with Jane. Good accommodation and welcoming of solo guests. Those looking for wi-fi/internet connection will be disappointed as this is something very much needed to update the Grey Mullet, as... More

Gorgeous B&B, full of charm and character. I felt so welcome and spoilt by the lovely Anita that I extended my stay an extra night. The breakfast was delicious and the location couldn't be better. I'm definitely going back next year!

Our third visit to the Grey Mullet was as pleasant as the first two. Anita and Jane made us feel very welcome yet again. Perfect location for all that St Ives has to offer (Sorry for the belated review).

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Grey Mullet B&B and what can I say . . The most charming, cosy and authentic place which really captures St Ives history perfectly. As a returning customer to St Ives since I was born I have stayed pretty much everywhere in the town and I can categorically say the Grey... More

We stayed here in May 2013, this was the second time we have stayed at this B&B, The 1st time we stayed in room Number 8, The room was fantastic, clean, spacious and quiet. This second time we were put on the second floor, the room was a lot smaller - no room to even put your suit cases anywhere,... More

Recently stayed in the Grey Mullet. Have been staying here for a number of years and have seen it decline each time. When the breakfast room was revamped I thought this would be the start of major refurbishment but sadly no. The location is fantastic, just a stones throw from the harbour & shopping streets and a short way from... More

Really grubby. You can tell the owner doesn't live there - nobody takes any pride in the place. Lumpy old mattress too. Breakfast was clearly budget products - particularly the sausages. Corners cut everywhere. Didn't like the location - too busy for us. Parking was miles away and up hill. Nobody around to advise you of the best way to... More

This was our 2nd trip to the Grey Mullet after first staying here in 2009, this time as previously we stayed in the cottage apartment, which is at the rear of the guesthouse. Firstly location is fantastic as the accommodation is right behind the harbor, with views over the beach, this however was the only positive feature. During our first... More

Stayed here two years ago and had some reservations about cleanliness but location made up for it.This time - still dubious housekeeping in both public areas and room, but one particular incident said it all. Only having a small basin in the cupboard (ensuite) it was difficult for us to wash the mugs for tea and coffee. This led to one... More
