We were staying at Tregenna Castle and wanted a Thursday evening meal, looking on line the menu looked good. We both had liver and onions it was worth the effort, cooked very well, the portions were good, a generous helping of veg including parsnips. For afters I had fruit crumble and custard, again very good. There was also the ultimate... More

The last time we visited the Badger Inn was unfortunately our last. Myself and my partner were visiting family in St.Erth who recommended the carvery. On a Sunday evening we decided to take a leisurely stroll to the pub from St.Erth to work up our appetites. On arrival the service was prompt and friendly and we were seated quickly. Unfortunately... Couple of the biggest ploughmans lunches enjoyed; meat one came with huge slice of each cold turkey, pork and beef and the cheese one slices of Brie, cheddar and a local cornish cheese. Fresh made coleslaw, potato salad and a fresh salad, plus lovely fresh bread. Certainly won't need to eat for a while. Totally recommended.

I was down to Cornwall for a few days for a family bereavement and decided to give the Badger a try. The welcome and friendly family atmosphere stayed from start to finish what a bunch of nice people were nothing was a problem. We had an excellent cooked breakfast each day and two or three evening meals including a carvery... More

Visited on 17th November with my girlfriend and we had one of the best pub meals of all time! The chap behind the bar was polite and good fun which made our trip even better. The garlic bread was the best I have ever eaten followed by some splendid scampi.

We called into The Badger for dinner on recommendation by a friend who eats here regularly on her travels with work - we also have a holiday let nearby and wanted to check out 'the local' on behalf of our guests. The home cooked Shepherds Pie 'winter warmer' was just as described and very enjoyable as were the scampi and... More

Hiked from St. Ives via coastal path on a typical Cornish autumn day! Had 2 pints each of Cornish lager called Korver, best lager I've had in some time. We had the home made fish pie and chicken curry, both very nice and piping hot, just what was needed, and very satisfying. Lad serving behind bar was very pleasant and... More

Walked from Carbis Bay along the coast path and were looking for a place for lunch. Girl serving behind the bar was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Ordered food (beef stew and dumplings and a salad - large portions and delicious!) Would definitely return.
