Our family consisting of 9 adults visited the badger on two separate occasions. We were made most welcome and the service was excellent. Staff were excellent too and good food is served at the badger. I would recommend to anyone passing that it is worth visiting. 100% rating for the staff and management at the badger and thank you for... More

Visited here as part of our annual trip to Cornwall. We have been here many times before and felt I should write a long overdue review... The food here is fantastic with service to match, I can highly recommend the 'Badger Burger', and to top it all off they serve St Austell's brewery ale. My only comment is that the... More

Fantastic meal. Very reasonable prices. Very accommodating to children and dogs. Busy but not a long wait for food. Definately go back again. Carvery available from 6pm during summer. Recommend booking before you go.

We went here twice during our week long stay in the area. Mainly because it was only place we could walk to. On first walking in pub very dark and not very welcoming . Service was haphazard depending on which staff served you , a few were friendly and helpful but majority definitely lacked people skills and/or customer service training.... More

Turned up on a Friday without a reservation. Un accommodative. Told with no booking no chance for a table. Even for a hour and nothing they can do. Suggest anyone going need to make a booking. Won't be back so cannot comment on the food but if the welcome and friendliness was anything to go by happy to stay away.

We went here today with our 5yr old and 6 month old, food was lovely and fresh, good amount of choices and children's menu. staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely outdoor area to eat and spacious indoor area too. We would definitely come back again when in the area.

We stayed on Friday 10 & Saturday 11 July 2015. Staff were friendly, polite & welcoming from the off and remained so throughout our stay. We opted for a quieter room at the rear of the premises, although it was noisy on the first night until 11pm owing to live music in the bar downstairs. The room was fairly sparse... More

We visited last year and enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch, this year we noticed they have started doing cavery's in the evening which are on a par if not better we have also just enjoyed some "door stop" sandwiches on local bread which were equally as delicious. We have 3 children and couldn't have been more warmly welcomed they catered... More

We stayed here for three nights-left this morning and its a fabulous place to stay. We travelled about but ate here as the food is so good and the menu is very varied :-) something for everyone! The rooms are very very clean and have everything in them you need-hair dryer, tea and coffee hot choc etc. They welcome children... More

Visited The Badger Inn after our day out in St Ives. It looked lovely from the outside so we thought we'd pop in! Wish we didn't!!!!!! There was myself, my partner & our 2 yr old daughter. On entering the 'pub' it's very dark. Alot of 'locals' looked at us like we weren't supposed to be there! We walked towards... More
