Blue Hayes is perfectly situated and Malcolm and his team ensured that our stay was another memorable one. Our room was spotless (as is the whole building), quiet and comfortable with wonderful views. Excellent choice of breakfast. Everything was absolutely faultless and we can't wait to find another opportunity to return!

We first visited Blue Hayes back in 2003 not too long after it had opened. Having enjoyed our initial visit so much, we've returned many times over recent years and I'm glad to say it . continues to be a truly superb establishment. Owner Malcolm is a very interesting and knowledgeable man and has the art of knowing when to... More

The Blue Hayes sits high above and overlooking St. Ives. Each of the four days we were there, the weather was perfect so we enjoyed breakfast from the elegant porch/patio overlooking their very green backyard, all of which looks out over the water in the foreground with the city in the background. The breakfast...unbelievably extensive...was as good as the view.... More

Having reviewed Blue Hayes several times, its difficult to find something different to say that doesn't sound like a cliche, so I will keep it simple.... Fabulous stay with excellent weather. Thank you Malcolm and the team for another great holiday. See you next year we hope!

We stayed for 6 Days in May 2014 and the whole experience from the minute we arrived to the time we left was Heaven. Malcolm and his wonderful team made our every need a reality. We have been around the world in the 5 star hotels and none of them hods a candle to The Blue Haze and the entire staff and Malcolm. The setting, the turquoise water, the lounges, wih solf blue and creme, the terrace, the rooms.....it is a haven. THE FOOD.....a most delightful breakfast..anything hot, cold....and if you do not feel like... More

We stayed at Blue Hayes around Easter 2014 for a couple of nights and it was every bit as good as described in the reviews. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. The in-house light dinners are a very nice alternative to going out, and you can stay in the lounge for... More

The Blue Hayes "experience" begins the moment you drive into the car park and are greeted by the owner, Malcolm. From this point on you will be looked after by the most helpful, friendly and professional staff you could wish for. The whole team, whilst being affable and engaging individuals, do all share some sort of DNA that helps to... More

My husband and I spent three nights at this wonderful hotel in April. The hotel was spotless, the staff was all helpful and friendly, and the view from our Bay Suite was spectacular. We were able to walk down the Southwest Coast path into town, or were a short cab ride from downtown if we didn't want to walk. The... More
