Just came back from the Blue Hayes and can thoroughly recommend the hotel. Stayed 3 nights in the Master Suite and enjoyed every minute. Staff and owner excellent, accommodation excellent, especially the breakfast (a dining experience!). Will stay again! more

This is the perfect place. The hotel is wonderful and views from the rooms are breathtaking accross the bay.We stayed in the master suite which was large with a four poster bed and huge bathroom. The suite has its own terrace where you can enjoy a glass of wine overlooking St Ives. The hotel's decor is very relaxing and the... more

The refurbishment of a former seaside hotel into a "bijou maison" with fewer rooms, each one a suite, was the recent accomplishment of owner/proprietor, Malcolm. Now he and his staff share the oohs and aahs of their guests and the twinkle in Malcolm's eyes reflects his own delight too. This lovely white building houses some of the most comfortable suites... more

Like one other reviewer here, we stayed at this hotel after getting married at Tregenna Castle across the street. (Because while the grounds were stunning and our reception room was decent, the rooms at Tregenna weren't were I wanted to spend my wedding night.) The Blue Hayes, on the other hand, was amazing. We had the Trelyon Suite with the... more

We first went to this hotel back in August 2006 on a very miserable Wednesday (the only day available), our first impressions were wow. The welcome received was like no other that we have ever experienced, Malcolm (owner) made us feel like family. After looking around we decided to hold our wedding weekend at this hotel, the atmosphere, surroundings and... more

We stayed for three nights in this small and friendly hotel and were impressed with the whole set up. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable. The staff were both very friendly and extremely helpful. Wonderful views from the rooms with a sea view and very comfortable and relaxing inside the hotel. Whilst we... more

Staff were so friendly and made the stay one of the best ever. Have already booked for next year. Thanks for a great stay, see you again next year. more

We stayed at Blue Hayes for 4 nights in November and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our room was fabulous - we had the Bay Suite which was light and nicely decorated with fabulous views over the bay from our bed. The bed itself was huge and comfortable, with really super squishy pilllows. The bathroom was spotless and had a... more

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Blue Hayes hotel in St. Ives. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. The hotel, comprising of 6 beautifully presented suites, was an excellent choice for location alone ( we stayed in the Bay Suite overlooking Porthminster beach) but in addition the relaxing atmosphere, friendly... more

Having spent a week staying at some of Cornwall's best boutique hotels this one was faultless. Every attention to detail has been included and despite the fact that it has now been open for some time looks brand new inside. Position; on site parking and very welcoming staff. Fabulous views across the bay!! Room; delightful, well furnished and super bathroom... more
