We have been going to Cornwall for over 40 years and eleven years ago we experienced our first visit at the Count House. The beautiful location, the cleanliness, the good quality food and warm welcome have become part of our annual holiday. more

A lovely old building full of character with the added bonus of free parking for guests. Our room had two easy chairs facing the window so that we could have a cup of tea/coffee whilst enjoying the beautiful sea views. There was a pretty patio area for guests to relax and take in the sun (yes the sun did shine... more

We had a great holiday in St. Ives. We stayed in the lovely studio apartment next to the Old Count House managed by innkeepers Cheryl and Ken Canning. The apartment is modern, comfortable and cozy, and has a terrace with a table and chairs from which you can look out over the harbour. It was a perfect base from which... more

Just returned from another wonderful few days at the Count House. Having not been back for a couple of years the standard of accomodation is still as friendly and excellent as we had previously experienced and with the lovely breakfast it really is a great place to stay while exploring this fantastic area. We do love the friendly and professional... more

We were very impressed by the Count House. It was so very well run and the owners could not have done more to make their guests feel comfortable. The rooms were very good and spotless and the breakfast offered an excellent choice. We would go there again - it was very good value. more

The location, overlooking St Ives harbour, is stunning (I use the view as my computer screen-saver!) and there's no problem arriving by car as you are directed away from the congestion in town and there's a 'Park and Ride' nearby. The bedrooms are spotless, with all the amenities you would expect and Cheryl's cooking is to die for! The décor... more

We stayed with Cheryl and Ken as part of a group of artists in St Ives for a week of painting and visiting galleries. Our visit was made truly memorable by the welcome and attention received from our hosts. We were looked after in a very friendly, but not intrusive, way. The Old Count House has a lot of old... more

We stayed at The Old Count House over the bank holiday weekend and Cheryl & Ken were simply brilliant! The House itself is full of character and the room that we stayed in had a 4 poster bed and jacuzzi bath! which was great fun! I will definately return to the The Old Count House! more
