We stayed at gekko lodge between Christmas and new year and thoroughly enjoyed our time in st Ives. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. It was nice and warm and quiet. Catherine was friendly and helpful and cooked a lovely breakfast. We have recommended the b&b to friends and family hope to return. More

A two night stay in November 2001. Very comfortable bed, nicely furnished room, with stunning sea and coastal views. Excellent breakfasts and very friendly hosts, who couldn't do enough to oblige. A very enjoyable stay. More

We had a long weekend staying in Gekko lodge recently and found it to be a great B+B. Location perfect for anywhere in St Ives with the added bonus of parking which I understand can be a problem in St Ives during the busy months. Lovely bright, clean room and ensuite and great sea views. Bathroom cleaned daily and a... More

I stayed at Gekko 4 days with my wife and our 5 years old child. We had the first floor room. The room was absolutely clean and confortable also for three people. Gekko is in a very quiet and scenic place and within a 10 minutes walk you can get in the lively town center. I recommend gekko to all... More

Stayed here was really nice, we stayed in the top room, view was amazing, room was clean, bed was comfortable, ensuite is at the back of the bedroom and is really nicely done, would recommend a stay here and we would stay here again without a second thought. The B&B was welcoming and breakfast was also very nice. More

We stayed for the weekend 19th-22nd august and couldn't have thanked cathrine any more for her hospitality. Bedrooms were always clean, although only problem was the opening. We stayed in the attic bedroom which was very well decorated but the door is only... 5"3' and your ok.. Any taller and you need to bend. That was my only concern. The... More

Passing 2 nights at GEKKO-LODGE St. Ives with our 13y old daughter we had e very friendly, comfortable stay. Gekko Lodge is small but very cozy, with absolut cleanliness, new furniture and the hostmother Catherine does everything to let you enjoy the stay. It can be recommended fully, we would rechoose it any time. More

Although the accommodation was very nice and spotlessly clean we were taken aback to discover that it was in fact an attic room. This had not been clear on the website. While it didn't say that the room was on the first floor the way it had been presented seemed to suggest it was. i.e. pictures of the interior rooms... More

Thanks Cath & Sam for our perfect 1st family holiday with our 4 month old boy. The B&B is perfectly located just a 5 min walk from the beach so free parking was great at Gekko. The room was clean and very comfortable and the shower is amazing. Baby Leon was very happy in his cot provided by Cath. Make... More

Our stay at Gekko Lodge was a very comfortable experience. The contemporary style of the bedroom and wet room was fabulous. Fresh coffee in the room a real treat - and a treasure to find such a quite street. Breakfast was excellent. Catherine and Sam have got it spot on! We'll definitely recommend it, and make a return visit ourselves.... More
