We stayed here recently on our holiday to St Ives. The room was lovely with stunning sea views. Breakfast was tasty and Catherine was so friendly, recommending places to visit and where to eat. We would definitely recommend this B and B, if you are looking at staying in St Ives.

We stayed in Gekko Lodge over a prolonged weekend. Above all, we valued highly Catherine’s helpfulness on attractive leisure options around St. Yves, the detailed information she gave us and her excellent home-made breakfast. The room was very clean, spacious and had a great view onto the sea. Overall, very recommendable.

After a warm welcome and help with parking the car, we chose the first floor room. The bed was a comfy king size. We saw an amazing sunset from the room and could see across Porthmeor beach. Breakfasts were delicious. Catherine was very helpful and pleasant and gave advice about local areas and local artists. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable stay.... More

We booked a last minute weekend break at Gekko Lodge and are so glad we chanced upon this amazing little bed and breakfast. From its lococation on a quiet private road, with parking, to the fantastic views from our spacious room (not to mention the brilliant shower). Catherine was a charming hostess, with plenty of advice on things to do... More

If you're looking for somewhere homely & chilled this is the B&B for you, Catherine is incredibly welcoming & helpful with tips on where to explore & great places to eat, she also cooks a mean breakfast. Opening the curtains in the morning to the sea view with distant surfers is the perfect way to start your day in Cornwall.... More

We stayed at the Gekko Lodge for a week in the summer and had a great time! It was just what we were looking for in a B&B: quiet, peaceful and in an ideal location for wandering into and around St Ives. Our room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable, with huge windows and a great view of... More
