We've just come back from our bank holiday weekend were we stayed at The Carbis Bay Hotel. What can I say, we had the fortune of good weather which just made the experience a lot more enjoyable. Having lunch in the beautiful conservatory whilst overlooking the white sandy beach, torquoise blue sea and the historic Godrevy light house in the... more

We have just come back from Cornwall, where we stayed at the Carbis Bay Hotel and we couldn't believe our luck! The hotel has the best views I have seen and even though we didn't opt for a sea view room, it really didn't matter because you just had to spend five minutes in the conservatory and you will never... more

Well, the Hotel is not the nicest we've stayed in. We stayed at the Hotel for the Easter weekend. This hotel is not for young couples or children. Menu is basic and food average. The room we stayed in was a sea view Superior. Well Superior it was NOT! The room was tiny. The only thing I can say that... more

I have been reading the reviews on the Carbis Bay Hotel and am astounded by some of them! Ever thought some of the authors might be saboteurs. Our daughter got married at the hotel in August this year and although this was a very small wedding party (8 in total) we had the most fabulous time. The staff couldnt have... more

We booked Carbis Bay Hotel through the Saga brochure. We were very happy with the welcome we received and the receptionist even took us up to our room. The porter brought the luggage up straight away. Our room was a good size with a double and a single bed. The room faced the garden, pool and the sea. We thought... more

My husband booked this hotel for a romantic night away. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location with fantastic sea views! The small lounge was cosy with an open fire and comfortable sofas, the conservatory had amazing views and the bedroom was a reasonable size. I was impressed with the presentation of the hotel - However, the service was... more

I can understand the comments re the small rooms, however we booked a balcony sea facing room and although still not spacious, was adequate and the balcony view wonderful. Do these people spend their entire stay in their room ? The food was excellent; the staff (all of them) were attentive and considerate. The situation of the hotel unbeatable. The... more

Myself my wife and 18 month son decided to stay at the hotel over the recent bank holiday weekend. The hotel looked fantastic when we booked using the web. Unfortunately the truth is that the hotel is in need of an update. The room was very small and again was not up to the price that we paid. When we... more
