Pulling in to their private access road I began to wonder if we had made the right decision coming here, the road being strewn with potholes and damaged speed humps certainly not what we were expecting, the outside of the hotel however is impressive and the gardens well maintained. The reception staffs although efficient were not very welcoming, we were... More

My boyfriend booked me a short weekend away at this hotel to celebrate my birthday and looking at the photo's prior to arriving I was very pleased. Beautiful on the outside but my god, dark, dingy and sometimes smelly on the inside! Firstly, this is a Christian Guild Hotel which is NOT and SHOULD be specified on the all booking... More

We were camping in Cornwall with friends but as it was our anniversary they offered to have our daughter whilst we spent a night in St Ives. We had to take what we could get as it was peak season and late notice but thought we had bagged a incredible hotel on booking.com. The pictures looked amazing so (unusually for... More

We stayed 2 nights, 3 days at the Treloyhan manor hotel. We were very satisfied over all. They had good food, mostly friendly staff, a pool table, 2 lounges, and football goals outside. We stayed in room 28, which was very smart and comfortable. The room was cleaned very well. My only complaint, which would drop a star, would be,... More

Luckily stayed here only 1 night, tiny room although it was clean but had shared bathroom. Had a long walk to get to our room - up 2 flights of stairs and down long corridors with our suitcases! Nice breakfast but staff not very friendly. Could have found better at same price elsewhere. Plenty of parking.

The exterior of the building is beautiful but don't judge a book by its cover. My recommendation is do not stay at this hotel. But if you must stay here do not stay in room number1. This room is tiny and two twin beds completely fill it up. There is no room for our luggage. There are no shelves to... More

This is a beautiful and grand building set in lovely grounds. The staff were all exceptionally welcoming. My single room was clean and comfortable and it was no problem to share a bathroom for the night. Breakfast was superb. The dining room is magnificent and the choice of food and service were excellent. It is an easy walk back into... More

This looks a splendid hotel from the photo and, from the exterior it is - lovely character building set in large park like gardens. Inside, too, is characterful - stairways, etc. But the rooms....!! OK, I made a mistake and did not notice I was booking a room without en suite facilities, and did not even notice this on the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night on a Easter road trip around Cornwall. It was the only bad place we stayed. We'd been skeptical from the cheaper price of the hotel and rightly so! However the photos looked nice and we needed somewhere to rest our heads so we took a punt.. Having asked for... More
