The positives, looks beautiful from the outside, staff are friendly and we had lovely views from the room. Unfortunately - no lifts, bed was hard, wifi reception was non existent in our room and poor downstairs and we had a noisy hot water system in our cupboard.

The previous reviewer was way off the mark! This place is lovely and characterful. Potholed approach? Just a few minor bumps that you might expect on a winding attractive driveway up to a grand old manor house. No lift? For two floors? Try a Holiday Inn. I was passing through so booked a single room, no sea view, no en... More

Not a good experience I'm afraid. No lift (can't see it mentioned anywhere). Very poor road surface (I did check prior to booking as we were on motorbikes but it's very poor for cars alos). Trickle of hot water. Had to use the kettle - haven't done that for 20 years since pre central heating. Manager hasn't called me to... More

Excellent clean rooms and good food with friendly, helpful staff made this a good stay. The peppered mackerel at breakfast was particularly good. I enjoyed the homemade soup for lunch in the lounge. I had a spacious ensuite single in the annex for the first night that seemed newly refurbished. I hope to stay again soon

Had a lovely stay with great views of Carbis Bay. Loved the stained glass window in the hallway of this once old home. Beautiful grounds and walks. Great value for money. They have good vego options for all meals.

booked via Booking.com as we always do for our annual St Ives trip and as there was no Tregenna Castle deals hit on this eleven times as we couldn't believe the price. All checked out briliantly, it is what it says on the tin, it is a Christian chain BUT they don't push anything at you and as long as... More

Wow what a beautiful hotel with amazing views overlooking Caribs bay. Will definitely book this hotel again. It's a short stroll into St Ives town about ten minute walk . Our room was lovely very spacious and light . Breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful . This is a Christian hotel which we didn't know when we... More

We booked our stay at treloyhan as a very last min get away, was planning on just the one night but for £35 for a standard double room a night it seemed a shame not to book for the two. On arrival we checked in and had been upgraded to a premier double room at no extra cost, which was... More

Thank you so very much for your kind words. yes £35 for a standard double room a night is a very good rate but at the early parts of the year we find we can do such offers. On arrival we will upgrade to a premier double room at no extra cost if we have the rooms available. The staff... More

Before we booked this hotel we looked at reviews on here and was over the moon at the pictures and things people said. On arriving, yes it is breath taking from the outside, set in picturesque gardens. Once inside it was like stepping into an old convent. It was dark and oppressively decorated. I like traditional as well as modern... More

Hi...We do have in the vast majority great reviews that you can see and to get a review that was slightly below what we expect was a huge disappointment. The hotel is breath taking from the outside, set in picturesque gardens. We have very modern lounges that have recently been refurbished. We have some spectacular bedrooms that have been recently refurbished.... More

I recently stayed at Treloyhan Manor Hotel in February half term, was greeted on arrival and the room I was in was spectacular! Amazing panoramic views over the coast and was very clean - looks like the whole hotel has had a brand new make over recently. The building is old stone and the decor compliments it well, the food...
