Situated approx 10 min walk away from St Ives Harbour up a slight incline. Don't let the incline disappoint as you can get some stunning views across St Ives and Carbis Bay. We were greeted upon entering and swiftly checked in. A lovely manor and grounds and for the price this was exceptional value and great service from the staff.... More

Nice location and fine od building. However has seen better days and needs some loving care and attention. On the plus side it's very good value for money and the rooms are clean and tidy. Can't comment on food as we didn't eat here. As stated by others it's a Christian centre but this does not really affect the day... More

This November, having travelled over 300 miles to get here, in a car, we were again thankful for the spacious house and gardens and the sea. Although almost a mile from the town, there is a good 'bus service to the "Malakoff," the terrace above the Railway Station. We used both 'bus and railway services - the 'bus to St.... More

Went to the restaurant for our evening meal, read the menu only to find that they were out of supplies for a number of the meals. Food was very basic when it did arrive. If you are offering a restaurant on site please make sure you can supply the dishes advertised. Room was clean and tidy. Did not know it... More

Firstly, too many reviews of people moaning it's a Christian Guild hotel and therefore a 'religious' hotel. Is this really something that will put you off?! At no point is religion mentioned to you during your stay or does it have any interference with your holiday. It's a normal service guys, you check-in, go about your business and then check-out.... We stayed here through booking.com and upon arrival was surprised that it was a Christian Guild Hotel-This wasn't stated on booking.com's description. To be honest we wouldn't have booked it if we had known, but was pleasantly surprised. We booked a standard double on-suite room (room 26) and I cannot fault the cleanliness of the room, bathroom and indeed the... More

Set in lovely grounds and our room had a beautiful outlook. Bathroom was superbly modern. Bed seemed too small for a couple used to a bit of space. Free wifi did not extend to our bedroom so I had to go downstairs to use my ipad which was annoying as I like to do that prior to dinner and in... More

We stayed at the hotel as part of an Angela coach holidays break. Our room was a family premier room which was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and large flat screen TVs had been installed since our last visit. The wi fi signal also seemed to be good in the particular room we were staying in.... More

Slightly further from the town centre than I had expected, but still only a 15 minute walk. Lovely historic old manor house set in spacious grounds/gardens. Could do with some TLC in some areas. Very good reception. The twin room I had was very nice and provided everything required. The hotel is run by a religious group, though this wasn't... More
