It's what you would expect, pub grub but not at pub prices expensive for what you get. Although the staff are friendly we didn't think much to the food .... The ribs were huge but full of fat... Good deal however on buy two steaks and get a bottle of wine ..

would recommend the union inn especially for Sunday lunch of roast beef and all the trimmings which was piping hot - a rarity these days - and service was spot on. The lovely fire is welcoming on a winters day too. Will certainly go back some time.

We regularly as a family, which they are really family freiindly, pop in to the Union for typically pre and/post dinner drinks and we love the proper pub feel as apposed to a Yates/Weatherspoon type place !! The historic feel really makes this a special place !

For the last two years on arrival in St Ives we have gone to this pub near to the apartment we rent. I choose the crab sandwich on delicious wholemeal bread with an organic ginger beer. Served by welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely start to our holiday.

Many year since we have used the pub,it was way back a real spit & sawdust place but now a warm friendly pub serving good food at a decent price. considering it is in one of the best street in the most visited town in Cornwall they really seem to have got it right,go try their beef and ale pie...yum.

Everyone was served pronptly and in a friendly manner by the two gentlemen working behind the bar ! Nothing was too much trouble for these guys - other establishments could learn from them... More

Friendly service, a cosy pub- atmosphere. The quality of the food is average, but the price is good. Children are welcome, there's no special menu for the kids, but the chef is willing to make small changes on the regular menu for them.
