We stayed four nights at The Carlill. The hosts, Graham and Lynn were accommodating, very kind and really helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage to collect later on the last day. Graham is hilarious and was super helpful with local tips on places to eat in St Ives. Breakfast was fresh fruit, real fruit juice (including my fave... More

Overall we were disappointed . At 46 pounds pp this was in the top range of B&B pricing and was promoted over the phone as “2 bedroom accommodation with a full bathroom and views”. The bathroom though was small and pokey and not as described. There was no bath and the shower was so small you could barely move in... More

Myself and my partner recently stayed at Carlill as a late booking as we were unsure what to expect having not stayed in a b&b for many years (about 15). However everything was a very personal experience, from making the original booking to the effort made to accommodate our food allergy to handing the keys over after our stay. We... More

Having stayed at this Guest House last weekend I would heartily recommend it to other people. The hosts Lynne & Graham are very welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is great with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts to start followed by a full english which is well cooked. The location is superb with just... More

We went to St Ives for a day trip, and it was so Beautiful we decided to stay the night. After shopping around to get somewhere reasonably priced which also had parking (very scarce in St Ives), we finally decided on Carlill Guesthouse. The owner was very helpful and friendly, the room was spotless, was tastefully decorated, well sized, the... More

Our room was superb, we booked a family room and were most pleased to find we actually had a 2 room suite, which was great . One double with amazing sea views and one with bunk beds and en-suite. The kids loved having... More

We have just had a lovely week at Carlill Guest House, we can't fault it! On our arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome from Lynne & Graham (the superb hosts) and shown straight to our room. What an exceptional room it was! We had room 3, the luxury suite. It had a king size wooden bed with super... More

My daughters & I took an impromptu trip to St.Ives. We were made most welcome at Carlill - providing good views and parking. We all found our beds very comfortable, tastefully furnished and very clean, the shower was powerful and of good standard. There is a short walk into St.Ives town centre which cut out the use of the car!... More
