We stayed here on a Sunday evening in April. The room was great, clean and simply furnished and the bathroom was very clean - worth pointing out that the rooms are up either one or two flights of stairs. Access is either through the pub or through a sidedoor. The breakfast was served in the pub and was very good... More

Lovely clean and comfortable seaside themed room. Excellent breakfasts and great location - 2 minutes walk to St Ives Harbour, restaurants and shops. We had a great weeks stay here and would definitely recommend to others. (Do be aware there is no lift and parking is at the station 5 mins walk away)

Really friendly staff that went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The location is excellent as its only a two minute walk to the harbour. However, Queens Hotel really is a pub with bedrooms. If you book knowing that it may be noisy at times and has a rustic feel then you won't be disappointed when you arrive.... More

The Bar staff were pleasant and friendly and the location was good but we were disappointed in the uncomfortable beds which were lumpy the pillows which were bumpy and the heat of the room. The breakfast was adequate but the smell of disinfectant was off putting. Due to the poor nights sleep we and our guests had we all felt... More

Booked on recommendation by a friend who had stayed previously and knew we wanted something central. We arrived early in the morning by train and left our bags behind the bar before our room was ready. Our room had a king sized bed and en-suite shower room, not massive but everything we needed. It overlooked the main street but had... More

Everything about this hotel was easy, straight forward and good value for money. Our room was excellent and more importantly the bed so comfortable I had a brilliant nights sleep. The breakfast was also lovely and freshly cooked with tea and coffee being topped up as we waited.....Staff were also very attentive and nothing was too much trouble! I would... More

Had a lovely meal here. Had the beef brisket and lamb shoulder. Both meals were really tasty and good unobtrusive service. Really lovely chips with the beef. Thought from the outside it would not be good meal and just wanted something quick, so pleasantly surprised.

We had a mid week break in February and the hotel was busy but not noisily unpleasant. Breakfast tables are spread out well so you get the hum of other happy guests chatting but you're not overwhelmed. Breakfast was superb - really wholesome, home-cooked food and right portions. The bar/restaurant has a really good feel with friendly staff and we... More

Lovely welcome. Room( No 7) was adequately spacious. Bathroom very good size. Breakfast was fantastic, dinner was a new menu. The food was delicious. Reason for not giving a score of 5 was a couple of small things, some dusting issues, this was noticed due to my wife being asthmatic, the quilt was a double, but we had a kingsize... More

We have just had a wonderful lunch here. The room was toasty warm and the welcome from the staff was also genuinely just as warm. We had sandwiches and a few chunky chips. Mine was beef which was thick, pink and very tender in superbly fresh hand cut brown bread. My OH had pork and apple, his pork was equally... More
