We recently stayed here for one night. The B+B felt very homely and very welcoming. Some B+Bs feel more like hotels , this was the opposite and as such there was a feeling you were in someones home. We were met by Ann who gave us a warm welcome and was always approachable and enthusiastic. The room had a great... More

We stayed at The Mustard Tree for two nights as we were in St Ives for a weekend wedding. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by Ann and John, during the stay we didn't see much of John but Ann was always friendly and approachable - I’m sure john would have been too! :). The room was clean and the... More

We were welcomed with the offer of a cup of tea after our journey from Bristol. The bedroom was clean and very well appointed, with an ensuite. There was a range of toiletries in the ensuite, and tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Fresh milk was provided free each day in the mini fridge. The Breakfast offered had... More

Lovely hostess, Anne, made me feel very welcome and allowed me to relax after an arduous train journey from Southampton. Comfy bed and room soothing music to start my day. I walked from Carbis Bay to Zennor that day - very hilly - no EXTREMELY UP AND DOWN - so I was so thankful that I had eat en a... More

Anne is very welcoming and helpful with details of local amenities. The room was fine and we had a great view across Carbis Bay. Tea and coffee making is available with fresh milk in the fridge along with chocolate and drinks, which could be purchased at very reasonable prices. The en suite is small, but adequate. I did find the... More

We were filming in St Ives and our team needed a place to lay our heads. The Mustard Tree B&B is a little Gem. The owners were a delight and very friendly. The rooms were spotless and the the breakfast was delicious with a range of choices. They did have a large Christian meeting the night we stayed in the... More

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Sorry if you were concerned about the folk we had round in the evening, they were four friends who were showing us some stuff from a trip they had been on. Normally we do not use the lounge when we have guests but we knew you were going out and so we... More

We arrived, bedraggled after a wet journey through Cornwall. Anne made us a pot of tea, and we dried out. The rest of the stay was excellent. Good food for breakfast, much of it locally sourced, a comfortable bed, an excellent en suite. Everything was clean and tidy. John and Anne recommended places to eat, and made sure that we... More

My first review on here but felt compelled to write. Took mum for a 2 day break in St Ives. Struck it lucky by picking the Mustard Tree. John and Anne were charming hosts, unobtrusive, genuine and kind. Our rooms were outstandingly clean and spacious with great views (especially room no7 I think it was). Great showers with plenty of... More

A great place to stay. It is immaculately clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts are the best with plenty of choice. One of my children is lactose intolerant, and John and Anne were able to cater for this. That was a real plus for us. The garden is really lovely too and full of interesting plants. The guest house is near... More
