Just returned from a weeks stay in the Lodge. The self-catering accommodation was first class - with everything (and more) you could possibly need. It was private, warm and cosy and a great base for this beautiful area - great cliff top walking and fabulous pubs at the end!! Thank you!

Absolutely dreadful hotel, furniture threadbare and tatty, rooms depressing and cold, would never stay there again, EVER. The management are more concerned with cutting corners and saving money than they are ensuring that there guests have a nice time. Everything about this hotel is cheap, from the overall decoration to the breakfast. When a hotel is charging as much as... More

Hello Robyn S, We were extremely surprised to receive your review of the Longcross now, as your three night stay was at the end of August and at no time did you make any complaint to any of the staff so that we could offer you alternative rooms. I was present when you checked out of the hotel and understood... More

Nice hotel with a great room / suite. being that it was January and the rest of the hotel was closed as we were the only guests we would assume that the rest of the hotel is to the same quality as our room which was great.

We booked a room in this hotel a few months ago and were informed directly that the hotel itself would be closed. We decided to continue with the booking and are so pleased we did. We had the stables room which is large, warm, very comfortable and well equipped. This became our base over the five days to explore the... More

I booked this hotel via booking.com only to be kindly sent an email from the hotel itself to state that due to the time of the year there will be no restaurant or bar open during our stay ...my partner decided to book else where on this occasion for that reason , I cancelled via booking .com and then received... A great place to stay and easy reach of the lovely Cornish coast. Stopped in the luxury lodge which was very well appointed, warm and clean. Staff were extremely courteous and made our stay a holiday to remember!

During our stay we were informed that the hotel is currently for sale and explains the recent lack of investment to bring this hotel up to the advertised standard. Random outdated furniture in the communal rooms, neglected exterior and gardens. Stayed in room 12 in the Coach House which was the only room available for a late booking and hence... More

Good morning Martin, Thank you for your review. I gathered from you on check out that you and your wife had thoroughly enjoyed both your evening meal and your breakfast so I am very glad that we got those parts of your stay right. Your review is slightly misleading as room 12 is not in the Coach House but in... More

Stayed for a single night at the Longcross Hotel, essentially to go and see Port Isaac. Had a really nice stay despite having a raging cold on the day. Stayed in the main house in a superior room which was light and airy and fittingly furnished with a very comfortable bed. Didn't get to sample the restaurant but if the... More

Great location lovely hotel super views good breakfast and dinner and friendly staff. We stayed in room 20 in the coach house (separate building to the house) top floor and a family room which was a bit of an extravagance for a couple but we loved the space. As noted by other guests we were lucky to have the first... More
