Have to confess that Longcross was not in our original preferred location as I had wanted closer to the beach. However, the availability for our unmovable dates did not leave too many choices in Cornwall for a party of 5. So it was with rather ordinary expectation that we picked it. The large suite we have was beautifully appointed and... More

We were greeted by Michael and felt welcome at once. Our lovely, large room was very comfortable with a king size bed. It over looked the parking area with beautiful garden, ponds & gazebo. Children's play ground and more gardens. All of the waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious dinners with great dessert choices (recommended by Joaquin).... More

This is a wonderful spot with comfortable rooms, delicious food, and breathtaking views. The gardens are well worth the walk. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my mother's mobility difficulties.

We stayed for one night in May. Location is beautiful. Parking is plentiful. We arrived and waited in the bar for 10-15 minutes to be told that we couldn't have a room because they were full. Then 5 minutes later they realised they were wrong. Very little service offered on arrival, no smile or spark from the lady who showed... More

My company has been staying at the Longcross Hotel for 10 years once a year during the Royal Cornwall Show. They are very accommodating with our changes to bookings prior to arrival and easy to get hold of. The rooms are comfortable with good showers. The staff are really friendly and go out their way to make sure your stay... More

There is ample parking on-site. The gardens are rather overgrown but very interesting. There is a charming pond in the centre with ducks and ducklings. The staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meal in the conservatory was okay but nothing special but the breakfast was outstanding. It was absolutely excellent! We enjoyed a game of pool and enjoyed a... More

We visited The Longcross to have a stroll around the gardens we'd heard about. We had coffees to begin with then ventured into the gardens, which were so lovely and peaceful. After an hour or so, we went back into the hotel for more coffee and although we hadn't intended to have lunch, the seafood pancake with a Davidstow cheese... More

Had a lovely stroll around the gardens of The Longcross, they were spectacular. With numerous places to see the breathtaking views along the north coast. There were lots of little hideaways with different statues etc. after visiting the garden, we had a cream tea in hotel, which was superb. The hotel is situated in an idyllic location near the fishing village... More
