Myself and a friend spent one night at The Longcross Hotel on a recent trip around Cornwall and found this to be the perfect place to stay near to Port Isaac. We arrived early evening and enjoyed a delicious meal at the on site restaurant with stunning views of the sunset over the sea. Our accommodation was very comfortable and... More

This great hotel and garden. I have visited lots of time over the past 30+ years. We only stopped for drinks and the atmosphere, service and drinks were great. The lovely conservatory offers lovely views (even on grey days!) up the coast via Tintagel and up to Bude and beyond

The staff at this hotel are so friendly and nothing is too much for them. Our room had a fantastic view and a very large comfy bed. The views from the restaurant are amazing. A full English breakfast with fresh ingredients.

I have just returned home from a wonderful week in the Longcross hotel with friends and family. Our room was clean, well appointed and very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and the views spectacular. We enjoyed our walks in the gardens as well as to Port Quin, Port Isaac and Polzeath. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly and helped... More

I spent a wonderfully relaxing 6 days with friends. It really was 'home from home'. All the staff were courteous and friendly remembering that you liked copious amounts of coffee in the morning, remembering that you took soya milk and always being attentive yet unobtrusive. The food was delicious with home-made puddings and the breakfasts were faultless - vegetarians very... More

We stayed at the hotel a week ago. We had a very enjoyable time there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, parking was always available and the garden is very charming. Port Isaac is about half hour walk away, easily accessible on foot. We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed our meal. The view... More

The hotel is sited in lovely countryside with sweeping views of Port Isaac bay. There is a good breakfast room and a conservatory-style restaurant. Staff are friendly and amenable, rooms comfortable if rather small. The Victorian gardens are a bonus although they could do with sprucing up! As far as reservations go, it would be nice if the bedroom carpets... More

Stayed here for x 2 nights. The hotel has absolutely stunning views, enjoyed from the decking area. The gardens were lovely, well worth a walk around. Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom let it down greatly - very tired and in need of some tlc. The room was also incredibly hot, despite its size... More

The Longcross is an excellent hotel, the staff are wonderful. They anticipated every need and always did this in a friendly way. Rooms were lovely. Room 1 was so big and the view was amazing. Food in the restaurant was also excellent, we are there 3 or 4 times, steak and fish just as good as each other. Can't wait... More
