Had a very nice three night stay , Paul the owner was very friendly and made you feel very welcome as did Gino his great Dane! Stayed in room 12 which I think is one of the smallest rooms but is clean and tidy and being on the second floor had a great side view looking out to sea with... More

Pleasantly eccentric owner. Definitely meet Gino, the great dane - he is special. The hotel, seen in Doc Martin, is small and has a small private car park - which is necessary in the village. great breakfasts - try his porridge. We had room #5 which had a balcony and great views.

We have stayed within Port Isaac on many occasions. This was our first stay at the Bay Hotel and it was a very enjoyable one. Paul and his staff gave us a very warm welcome and nothing was too much for us during our four nights there. Our rooms 6 and 7 had beautiful sea views across Port Gaverne. Will... More

We were bought a 2-night stay by our children (long grown up!) for our Christmas present. Drove down to Cornwall, leaving early Good Friday. We were warmly welcomed by Paul and Gino even though it was only 11am. Paul had upgraded us to a bigger room, on the front of the house overlooking a stunning vista of the bay. We... More

This review has been a long time coming as we stayed at The Bay Hotel on the 17th of May 2012 but we had such a great time there that it would be remiss of me to not write to TripAdvisor with our thoughts. Paul and Gino greeted us warmly and Paul informed us that the room for which we... More
