Several years ago our son and daughter-in-law introduced us to Westaway, assuring us that we would love it. We did, and have just come home from our 6th visit. If you read all the 5 star comments on Trip Advisor you will understand why we love it so much. Everything they say is true. Jocelyn and David are, indeed, the... More

This was our 4th stay at Westaway. As always, we had a wonderful few days in this luxurious and comfortable B&B, and Jocelyn and David are the most delightful hosts. The breakfasts were amazing, the room was superb - couldn't fault a thing. I am truly amazed by a previous comment that it was 'average, dated, etc etc'. I can... More

We stayed at Westaway in August 2011 and have booked again for this year. This B&B is absolutely wonderful and Jocelyn and David completely know how to spoil their guests. Jocelyn's breakfasts are so, so good, even down to the homemade muesli and preserves. My husband requires a gluten free diet and was catered for without any hassle whatsoever. In... More

I stayed here with my (now) husband for a few nights a couple of years ago (August 2010 but it won't let me select it) and we thought it was wonderful. Beautiful part of the country and lots of lovely walks and beaches to explore. The hosts, David and Jocelyn were excellent: cream tea on arrival (delicious), helped us get... More

Certainly not worthy of the 5 star rating and the high room prices. Very average with a very isolated location. Long way from port isaac. Will stay in port Isaac next time we visit Cornwall.

We found Westaway a perfect base for our 2-day visit to the area. Many thanks to the Great hospitality, a top notch breakfast with superb coffee, you gave us two quality, peaceful nights, just the ticket to our short visit, which we believe was at the start of their season. Joselyn and David have a lovely guesthouse, they spent genuine time attending us,telling us... More

Jocelyn and David made us feel very welcome - they are both a font of local knowledge - their hospitality and excellent hosting along with the first rate breakfast and lovely room (Lavender) has made us decide that next time we will stay longer. A great place.

Westaway is a guesthouse with everything that could be wanted for a quiet, restful holiday or break and wants for nothing, except perhaps a meditteranean climate. My wife and I have visited several times and I have never seen such consistency. The place is spotlessly clean, the food is meticulous and is perfect and we both adore Jocelyn and David... More

Stayed for a short break this year and 2 years ago, have booked again for next. Joselyn and David are lovely and make you feel very welcome, they have a wealth of knowledge of the area and are keen to get the map out to help you enjoy your day. The breakfast cannot be faulted, as a non meat eater... More

This is a lovely place to stay. Jocelyn was a perfect host; providing good information and advice when required but not at all intrusive. I stayed there with my partner in June and although the weather was dreadful, we were still able to do some good walks. Westaway is not in the heart of Port Isaac but if you have... More
