visited this weekend for a break with my partner after being recommended in staying here by a friend and we left very happy. Value for money was very good. For £70 a night for a couple with a fresh, home cooked breakfast with a spacious and serviced room we were very happy. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food in... More

Booked a table in the restaurant side and chose the curry and crab salad. Both meals were very good value and well presented. The first table we were shown to was not in the best position but when a better table became available we were moved. A little more customer focus/explanation would have helped. That aside we would definitely return... More

We recently stayed for a couple of nights. We have visited Polperro and used the pub before but this is our 1st time in the inn. The Apartment was lovely (if a little dated) and for me personally, the most important thing a good powerful hot shower. My Wife fell in love with the Cornish scones and tea that she... More

We visited the Crumplehorn on 3 occasions for food and beer, each time was superb, I won't eat anywhere that is remotely below standard, so to go there more than once is a recommendation. Very friendly staff, especially the landlord who obviously knows what he's doing, so many don't these days, utterly clueless most of them, the food was great,... More

Visited recently with family and good was great and with good service Worth a visit We ordered various fish dishes and would recommend the fish pie However we did get a catch of the day which in truth was flavourless and rather dull Everything else was great

We stayed at this delightful hostelry on one of our frequent visits to Polperro. As usual we recieved a warm welcome from all the Staff (and Dog). We had a lovely room but all the rooms are lovely. The breakfasts are wonderful. I can recommend the kippers. The lunch and evening menus are varied and the food delicious. The first... More

Do not eat here. Food was awful and service appalling. Tables were dirty where we sat down. They refused to serve me what I want. Music was awful. Too cramped. Thank goodness I did not book a room here! Never again.

It is somewhat difficult to respond to your review since we really do prefer not to comment negatively where guests have apparent behavioural issues. Your own family asked you to leave the building and go outside such was the extent of your poor behaviour and agitated confusion and aggression during your evening meal with us. Because of your own apparent... More

We have stayed at the Crumplehorn several times over the past year and have always been delighted. Excellent food and drink, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms. We are always made welcome and well looked after. Perfect situation on the edge of the village, quiet but not remote. Looking forward to our next visit.

My husband and I decided to stay at the Crump for a week in early March to help celebrate his 50th birthday. We booked (quick & easy) a 1 bedroom apartment for 1 week. Having been to Polperro on many occasions, and having had some excellent dining experiences at the Crump, we were looking forward to our stay...and we were... More
