Since discovering the Crump in 2006 we have visited Polperro and had enjoyable stays many times. At least twice every year sometimes more depending upon circumstances. As members of the Polperro Family History Society we stay, along with other members, for the weekend of the Annual Gathering and compare notes. We have stayed in most of the different types of... We stayed at the Crumplehorn for a long weekend, very good value for money and the service was ace. The staff were very friendly and made our stay well worth while. We walked along the coastal paths and on our return to the "Crump", had a couple of pints in the bar prior to showering and coming down to eat... More

In small coastal places like Polperro the restaurant hospitality is welcoming and no restaurant is more welcoming then the Crumplehorn Inn and Mill. For a start the cosy feel to the whole place is a real treat after a day of walking and the all round feel of the establishment is friendly. When you order the staff give you time... More

The Crumplehorn Inn and Mill is just simply divine! Situated on the outskirts of the charming old fishing village of Polperro it has free parking for guests, a superb menu (very generous portions) and a range of comfortable rooms. One very big plus for us is that dogs may stay with owners in the rooms and this makes the stay... More

Went for a meal on Saturday night while staying in Kilgarth Caravan Site, I had the special Monkfish Thai curry, my husband had the fish pie and my 7 year old and the children’s scampi, it was all delicious, had a lovely bottle of wine and it was excellent value for money. Staff were very helpful, friendly and generally extremely... More

Just back from another fantastic long weekend at the Crumplehorn. Very comfortable accommodation in an outstandingly beautiful location. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Alan and Sonja Crockford and their staff. The homecooked food is truly delicious, huge portions and excellent value for money. Highly recommend the fish-pie and our friends thoroughly enjoyed the chicken roulade and the... More

Yet again an excellent stay. I try to go once a year and as always there is a warm welcome, lovely pub, great beers, amazing food and nice friendly staff. I can recommend the steak and ale pie and the chicken roulade. Also the owners own cheesecake to die for. The accommodation, although a little dated is always clean and... More
