We've stayed here numerous times but never reviewed it. This is a perfect hotel for a break in Cornwall. You are welcomed with a friendly smile and cheery disposition which always help after a long journey. The rooms are all lovely and cosy - with little touches of local arts/crafts around making it a personal hotel. Breakfast is an absolute... More

Stunning building, the interior very tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed and most welcoming. We had 2 very comfortable nights there. Our hostess made sure all our needs were catered for, she had a full house which spoke volumes for her hospitality, as there were many other places nearby with vacancies. This was one of the best stays we... More

Thank you so much for that very kind review! I remember you as being the very happy but busy Australians - I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in GB and had a good trip home. It was lovely meeting you both, maybe again one day ....?! All the very best and thank you. More

I've stayed at the Tremont for several years, having found it by accident when I couldn't book into another one. The green credentials were what made me choose it over other alternatives, and I've never regretted it. Chris is welcoming and attentive, giving me a pot of tea and biscuits in the lounge when I arrived for my first visit,... More

Two years since my last stay and nothing has changed here! Why fix what isn't broken? Chris runs a superb business competing with most of the other B&B's in town along the same street. She greets you by name where possible and her team will offer you every assistance during your stay. The Breakfast Award is proudly displayed in the... More

There are lots of positives here: Chris, the owner, is friendly and helpful; the location is fine (on a road with a dozen or so other B&Bs); everything is clean. But the single room I had was tiny - barely enough space for the bed - and the water pressure in the shower was disappointing. Overall, then, not quite excellent,... More

After staying in Falmouth for one night we moved onto Penzance and looked for somewhere to stay. Driving along the streets we found lots of B&B's with no vacancies until we got onto Morrab Rd just off the Promenade. We pulled up outside two with vacancies and I Googled the one that looked the most impressive hmmm, ok let's just... More

I stayed for a couple nights during the first week of October. My expectations were minimal - I was looking for a clean room and not a whole lot but Chris was the perfect hostess. Friendly, accomodating and caring, plying me with vegetarian options when I told her that I was a vegetarian, providing me with maps and information, letting... More

The Tremont is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Room was great!! Clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast. We hired a bike and off to Trengwainton Garden and St. Michael's Mount. Explored the wonderful South West Coast Path from St. Ives. The food at Admiral Benbow is great. We even preferred Penzance above St. Ives. More relaxed and not... More

We stayed at Tremont in June 2013 and had a great time. Chris was very friendly and we were only about five minutes' walk from the prom. I had a great breakfast in the morning and our room was very clean and spacious. The best part though was the lounge which was very light and airy and full of lots... More

The Tremont is very handily placed in Penzance...less than 5 minutes stroll from the Promenade, and 10 minutes walk to the town. Just returned from an over-night stay at the Tremont, and I can't fault it. I arrived early in the morning and whilst (understandably) the room was not yet ready I was offered a coffee and a shower if... More
