We had a lovely overnight stay at the Queens for Alan Paver's Testimonial Dinner. The food was great, the room was clean and comfortable and staff were a very friendly happy bunch and exceptionally polite and helpful. The hotel is old fashioned but nothing wrong with that, it has a large enough car park and is right on the sea... More

Suddenly stranded in Penzance overnight as our flight to St Mary's was cancelled due to fog, we had to find accommodation at short notice for our party of eight. The Queens could not have been more welcoming and gave us an excellent price for B&B of £50.00 per room. The rooms were spacious, clean , warm and very comfortable with... More

A complete surprise for my wife as part of our 25th Wedding anniversary I decided to head back to Penzance where we honeymooned. She only twigged when we got very close and the signage became obvious. I had wanted to completely reprise our original stay but that guest house had closed some years ago so I chose the Queens for... More

We stayed at Queens in September in the most charming spacious room with the seaview. Sit slightly back, and you will have impression that you are sitting by the sea. Wonderful! It is a family-owned hotel, the service is brilliant, fine food in hotel restaurant and very good choice too! We will definitely come back!

My nephew and I stayed at the Queen's Hotel on 18th & 19th September, 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely rooms on the top floor overlooking the Bay with fantastic views. Could have spent hours just sitting in the bay window admiring the view. Everything we asked for was provided and there were no problems at all. The rooms and... More

My family and I stayed for two nights and paid GBP776.00. The hotel is not a modern hotel, the rooms were big and clean but nothing to write home about. Location is perfect, the staff wasnt exceptionally friendly. I must mention the first lady that checked us in and got us this lower rate although it was still astronomical. Sorry... More

At £154 per room per night you would expect a quality hotel, unfortunately not.The entire hotel is in dire need of a complete refurbishment then it might just be able to justify its charges. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant on our last night and we had the worst meal either me or my wife have ever anywhere,as did everyone... Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location. Arrived unbooked late one evening, met a very friendly and helpful receptionist who went out of her way to accommodate us. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Would stay here again.
