This was my first time at the Queens Hotel. The staff were friendly and my room was clean and tastefully decorated. I was struck by the beautiful paintings around the hotel. I ate at a local Indian restaurant - just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The best bit was waking up the next morning and opening the curtains... more

The Queens Hotel provided the wonderful venue to a recent family Wedding of ours. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Despite being in the middle of the summer season everyone was so obliging and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was amazing, especially the roast beef and crumble!! We were so greatful for how child friendly... more

We called at the last minute looking for a room for us and our three kids. We'd looked all over St. Ives and nothing was available. We were a bit skeptical when they had a room, thinking it must be a bad hotel if they have a room and no one else does. But we were very pleasantly surprised upon... more

Wonderful hotel - friendly staff - good value for the money. Only downside was that breakfast was poor compared to other hotels of this class. While we were kindly given fresh fruit when we requested it, other guests might not be quite so determined. Pity no fresh fish (kippers, etc.) was on offer at breakfast. more

We had a great deal for all of us, which would have included the car park for a week ( we took the train instead). Fantastic large room for us all, staff happily found us something to put water in for our dog, and very good food. In fact the portions were almost too much! Staff were pleasant and friendly.... more

First the ironic thing - the room used for advertisments was the room I stayed in - not thatt you would recognise it - I think the picture is very out of date! I arrived at 5.30pm, and after a long day working (I had travelled 400 miles do my job, and had been up since 4.00am) I was looking... more

We should of known this would be an awful experience when we walked through the rear entrance past the stanna stairlift and tacky looking hairdressers, but as everywhere else was fully booked we had no choice other than to cough up the £140 room fee or kip in the car. On entering the room I was greeted by a strange... more

We spent four nights at the Queens, having booked fairly late on-line. Didn't expect much but were given a standard double room on the first floor with sea view. Room was very spacious, well equiped and had a pleasant decor. En-suite bathroom was equally spacious and comfortable. The staff, without exception was very friendly and helpful and we never saw... more

I stayed at the hotel with my wife, Son with his wife and two young children and my grown up daughter, all our needs where catered for, its an ideal hotel to base yourself when you want to explore this part of Cornwall and if you are driving it has a very large car park where you are always able... more

The Queens Hotel is beautfully located on promenade. The lobby and restaurant have fabulous views over the bay and Mount St Michael. The rooms were very roomy and cool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Don't forget to try the Kedgeree for breakfast, its to die for. more
