We stayed for 2 nights on a deal. We had a standard room which didn't face the sea. This was OK for us as the only noises we could hear were the Seagulls, no cars etc. The breakfasts are huge, we both struggled to finish. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant and the... More

We stayed here prior to travelling for a week on St Martin's. Because we were staying at either end of the week at the hotel we were allowed to park for free. The hotel is a lovely example of victorian seaside hotels with beautiful rooms and very good facilities. Wonderfully old fashioned with lovely crisp white linen and comfortable beds.... More

Although very busy today we felt special and valued. The menu was varied and elegant. Cornish roast beef was absolutely delicious. Service was immaculate, seemless and personal. Congratulations to the new manager and his staff for pulling off a perfect Mother's Day lunch. Flowers and chocolates were a lovely touch. My 22nd Mothers Day was the best!

Just returned from a 2 day break at the queens hotel. There was plenty of free parking. We paid a supplement and had a sea view which was panoramic showing st Michaels Mount as well as nearby Mousehole and Newlyn. The room was very clean. We had good service from staff who were attentive and friendly. The evening meal and breakfast... More

Just returned from a 2 day break with friends, and can honestly say we had a lovely time, staff rooms and food very good, only small issue car park very congested and not always space available, but would certainly be going back for further visits.

John, Thank you for your review and kind comments. The car park does get busy sometimes and we have had issues with non-residents parking in our car park, an issue that we are currently investigating. We don't want to install a barrier at the car park entrance as we have found them to be more hindrance than help. We look... More

Just had a lovely Sunday roast - good food, obliging staff, dog friendly hotel - can recommend it. We live in Penzance and often pop in for a drink or coffee and love seating in the lounge watching the world go by.

This is our 2nd time staying at The Queens Hotel, unfortunately it had been hit by the awful bad weather that most counties had suffered. The waves from the sea front were breaking at the pavement in front of the Hotel going over the two storey. However this hadn't stopped the hotel functioning even though the lower floor was flooded.... More

Grass-Skirt-Warrior (!), Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay, and the service. We apologise for the lift being out of action, part of the hotel basement was flooded and we didn't want to take any risks with the operation of the lift. That saying, we are looking to make sure that, in the event... More
