We chose Armeria House (among the many B & B's in Penzance) because its internet presentation and reviews promised a relaxed atmosphere and the location is very convenient. The breakfast turned out to be another strong point -- cooked to order, with fruit and cereals on the buffet and a variety of egg and other breakfast dishes available. The house... More

Armeria House is well situated for amenities in Penzance - within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and Penlee Park with it's lovely art gallery. Madeleine was very friendly and helpful and my room was clean, neat and peaceful. Breakfasts were a real delight - fresh yoghurt and fruits as well as cereals followed by an amazing choice of cooked... More

This was a delightful place to stay. Our hostess, Madeleine was welcoming and friendly. This is a beautiful Victorian house that has been refurbished to a high standard in a contemporary fashion but keeping original features. Thoughtful touches that made you feel that you were within your own home. Breakfast was all you could want. Using local fresh food the... More

The Armeria House is a lovely and stylishly decorated B&B, all very fresh and light. The owner of the place is very kind and helpfull. The breakfast menu is a real treat. The products are locally sourced and prepared with love for food. We went to some of the restaurants recommended and they were all great (although the map with... More

Madeleine made us feel immediately welcomed. The room (#3) was spacious and clean. The house is located on a quiet street and is centrally located to very good food (we enjoyed very good dinners at Bakehouse and Mackerel Sky, and a massive cream tea at the Honey Pot). The rail/bus stations are easily reached by foot (10-15 min walk). The... More

This is a terrific B&B. Lovely property, great bfast, convenient quiet location, charming elegant house. Elegant and welcoming house and charming hostess. Delicious breakfast too, one of the best we've had. Bedroom and bathroom had lovely touches and the seaside theme was cheerful without being tee.

Delicious, cooked English breakfast, fruit salad & cereals - I especially liked the freshly baked, mini pastries! The bedroom is beautifully decorated and more than the basics are provided; everything necessary for a hot drink to enjoy with the yummy biscuits & a TV w/DVD player - a very good selection of DVD's in the lovely living room. The bed... More

One of the best places we have ever stayed - beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, clean and quiet! There are lots of breakfast options from healthy to traditional to chose from, which were all delicious. The living room upstairs has an open fire, a selection of DVDs to choose from on a rainy day and is a perfect spot to read.... More

Stylish, exceptionally clean, laid-back. Pure class. No on-site parking, which might be a problem in peak-season, but there is parking on the road outside and there is a pay & display car-park around the corner. We were always able to find a place on the road.
