A friend and I stayed before for one night each side of a week's trip to the Isles of Scilly. The excellent reviews we had read in advance on Trip Advisor were not misleading. There was a friendly welcome by Steve, who was very helpful and kind. We had two single rooms, which were a decent size, spotlessly clean and... More

We booked as our normal overnight accommodation was not available!! what an amazing place. From the welcome we received to the minute we checked out, nothing was too much trouble. The decor was stunning and really in keeping with the building. Breakfast was fantastic. Lovely people. Lovely rooms and they even put half a cow in the fridge for us!... More

We stayed for 4 nights here July/August 2014 (there were 9 of us in our party). This B&B impressed as soon as we arrived. Very well furnished and decorated. Our room was at the front and had a lovely bay window. The bed was so comfortable we could have stayed in so much longer! Breakfast was another treat that was... More

Lovely welcome by the owners who are Northerners like ourselves. A good location for a stay in Penzance. The room was delightful and tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed and excellent facilities. Although the house is quite old and quaint, everything is modern indoors and has been very nicely decorated by the couple who run it. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was... More

We stayed here on the first night of our cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats. Steve was very helpful and stored our tandem bike safely for the night. The room was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended.

We can't praise this lovely little guest house highly enough. We stayed there for one night during July (Sat), and had the most amazing time. Didn't want to leave! Steve dealt with us during our stay, and was incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was absolutely immaculate, and very spacious and comfortable. He welcomed us with a lovely cup... Lovely welcoming staff and a good location for a stay in Penzance. The room was delightful and tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed and excellent tea and coffee facilities. Although the house is quite old everything is modern indoors and has been very nicely decorated by the young couple who run it. Breakfast was amazing. So much choice I wanted to stay... More

The title says it all. Stayed overnight on our return from the Scilly Isles. Within a few minutes of stepping over the threshhold we decided we wanted to stay longer (unfortunately they were, not surprisingly, fully booked). Steve and Diane are very talented, friendly and hard-working hoteliers who run an excellent b+b. Book early! We certainly will next time.

The guest house is superbly run by Stephen,. It is immaculate, clean, and the breakfasts, cooked by Diane, are very good. Stephen is very helpful and attentive. We were first time visitors to Cornwall, and we found Penzance is a very good base for exploring nearby areas such as Cheevor mine, St Ives, the Lizard Peninsula.. The guest house is... More
