Traditional pub in the lovely village of Paul. Stopped off here after visiting the local church where the grave of Dolly Pentreath(the last Cornish language speaker)lies .Nice pub and friendly staff. They serve well kept beers, the Tribute Cornish Pale was a treat.A short walk down Paul Hill brings you to Mousehole.

I booked to stay at the King's Arms because it was the most affordable place for a single person in the area. The pub is an old stone building with lots of character, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room was very small, no ensuite or even a washbasin,.but it was very attractive, with an old high bedstead... More

Visited to celebrate a birthday , although the food was ok and bar staff competent , the waitresses looked miserable and didn't speak , they were very unwelcoming ! There is more to eating out than the food , ambience ruined by two surly teenagers with complete lack of communication skills .

After spending day hiking about the coast discovered this humble abode. Homely atmosphere with helpful and pleasant staff. Yummy food and well presented. Generally worth a trip off beaten track and looks like a well visited local..

Arrived just as lunches were available. Always like to come here for a crab sandwich as it is pure crab, unadulterated, fresh and tasty, with home - made coleslaw on the side and a small mixed salad. The staff are friendly and helpful and the beer is very good and served in dedicated glasses.

Paul is a great place to detour to if you are walking around West Penwith. We walked from Penzance to Paul via Newlyn and took in some stunning views and great air up the unrelenting Chywoone Hill. We intended to stop by the Kings Arms for Sunday Lunch. The service was very courteous and the traditional Sunday roasts were plain... More

On vacation, we rarely eat at the same place twice. We prefer to keep trying new places. We find most pubs offer boring food with poor service. We four stopped for lunch at The Kings Arms Pub in Paul. The first surprise was the menu. It was restaurant food, not an accompaniment to beer. We came back for diner the... More

Once again, we been there today and had yet another superb Sunday roast , we have been several times now and the food quality and amount stays the same, so not a flash in the pan , well done, quick service, hot food, well cooked, and plenty of it , we will be back again.

A charming, welcoming and dog friendly pub. The bar felt just the right place in which to enjoy some of the lovely Rattler Cornish Cider whilst staying in the area. I didn't get as much change as I was expecting from my tenner, just 80p, once the £3 tip the barman added when I suggested he have one himself. We... More

We were planning to stop in Mousehole for lunch but couldn't find a parking space (!) so carried on and came across The Kings Arms. It wasn't busy, we had a friendly welcome and delicious lunch. The home made ale pie with side dishes of veg and saute potatoes was very tasty. Recommended.
