A very interesting place to stay. Excellent breakfast and plenty of space to go with the dog. My room was very convenient for me and the dog (ground floor and separate entrance) but would have been tight for two people I think. Great shower. Easy access to Penzance. Hosts gave very good advice about where to go to eat. Amazingly... More

I had booked a room for the weekend and wanted to book another one. As they were fully booked they offered me a 2 bedroom unit which suited us fine. Eclectic decor but very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The owners are extremely affable and charming. We had a walk around the lovely gardens and a short history lesson from the... More

The first impressions of the house are of a large imposing ,stylish residence surrounded by rolling green hills. The owners are very welcoming and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. They are also very knowledgeable of the area and interesting and fun characters to talk to.

We stayed one night at Trereife House as part of a recent 3-day whirlwhind tour of Cornwall. Trereife House is a lovely manor house run by a family who have owned it for quite some time. Our room, at the back of the house on the ground floor, was very pleasant, comfortable and suited our needs for a brief overnight... More

This was a lovely rustic hotel. The family were so helpful and friendly. Newlyweds town and Mousehole are closely for evening meals. The room was spacious with a great view. Breakfast was amazing. With only four guest rooms in the house the service felt personal. I would recommend this place.

We stayed at Trereife with friends and received a very warm welcome. The owners were attentive and friendly throughout our stay and the rooms and breakfast were lovely. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the self catering part of Trereife House for 2 days in the new year. It was absolutely perfect - a great space - plenty of room to move - lovely owners - great showers and lovely big beds. We would definitely recommend as would our friends who live in Penzance and saw Trereife too!

A stunning historical house, where you can smell the old Cornwall anywhere. My family and I spent one night in December and really enjoyed the rooms, the brekfast and the gorgeous big garden perfect to have an early morning walk. We also had a lovely chat with the house owner about property and family history. Strategically located to visit the... More

Very good hosts, comfortable rooms. An evening meal would make it excellent, local restaurants are good, but not as good as in the hotel. Parking is excellent. The breakfast is very good utilising local produce to the full extent possible.

We stayed here with our 5 month old daughter for two nights and had a wonderful time. The house is very impressive as a location with nice gardens a small woodland to wander around. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. We were in the Coleridge room with a great very of the gardens and a lovely bathroom.... More
