A large group of us eat here for a 70th birthday party. The food was fantastic. Service was great. We were seated at the rear of the reastaurant in what was (or appeared to be) the cabin of a sailing ship!

We only popped in for lunch but found both the outside and inside brilliantly piratey. Food was perfectly decent pub grub at a perfectly reasonable price. My mum, sister and 4 year old nephew went to the benbow for lunch, as we do every time we go to Penzance, and enjoyed it as much as ever. Warm welcome, delicious food and reasonable prices. The best chips in Cornwall in my opinion!
