What a wonderful surprise I found in Penzance, Cornwall in the Duporth Guest House. It started with Steve, our host...and maybe owner?, of the little hotel that could. Steve met us (my family) downstairs. He seemed to know us each by name before we had been properly introduced. He was cordial and warm...an old friend waiting to happen. Of course,... More

The owners here are so welcoming and friendly and they provided us with more than we had requested for dairy and gluten free requirements. They also gave us some great tips for where to eat and visit in and around Penzance. The room was quite small but we've stayed in smaller and had a sea view! The building and furnishings... More

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for just one night on a B&B basis It's a lovely Victorian property in a quiet street just a 2 minute walk to the front and in walking distance of some great pubs and eateries. The room we had was spotless clean as was the en-suite and very comfortable, the continental breakfast is all... More

Most of my travels in UK, other than family, have been in B&B's. This was the first time in a guest house. Guess I am spoilt by having my breakfast cooked for me in B&B. Continental style breakfast was in the room, so did not meet other guests, which was sad. The breakfast was ample. The host and hostess were... More

Just a 2-minute walk from Penzance seafront, I had a lovely room with a view over Mounts Bay. Breakfast in the room was sensational, and the croissants to die for! Easy access to town (about 10 minutes stroll). Staff were very helpful, recommending local sightseeing, restaurants.

nice guest house, friendly hosts. Easy parking and very convenient for town centre. Nice to have a change from the traditional English breakfast with the fresh fruit and eggs provided here. Would stay here again.

I booked this guest house for the weekend Pontypridd were playing The Cornish Pirates in the British and Irish Cup. The ground was a stones throw away and near some local pubs. The rooms we were given had lovely sea views. Mine, on an upper floor, had a bay window with a table which enabled us to have breakfast looking... More

Perfect location, everything is on your doorstep. The rooms were very clean, modern and great value for money. The rooms had been re-furbished recently which was lovely and exactly what we wanted. The staff were very welcoming and I would love to visit again...Thank you Duporth

We have stayed here a couple of times before, there's not a better place to stay in Penzance. Would once again highly recommend, owners are lovely, rooms are comfy, breakfast is great. Couldn't ask for more from a BandB by the sea.
