We stopped off here for one night on our way to the Isles of Scilly. The B&B is in a good location one street back from the sea front, very close to the Isles Of Silly parking and not far from the Scillonian departure point. The owner greeted us on arrival and he was very friendly and helpful. Our room... More

This Guest House is away from the main Penzance town and so be aware that it is a 15 minute brisk walk into town. The location is quiet and pleasant. The Guest House is looking a little tired and needs some work doing on it. The bed in Room 1 is uncomfortable and squeaks with every move. It needs changing.... More

nice and clean, however they don't take credit or debit cards, continental breakfast, aka do it yourself in your room. Quite cold and I think there are better value venues in the area. Its at the quiet side of the town, parking is available on street, although I had my door kicked and dented but that could be just bad... More

I stayed at Duporth for one night during March 2015 and thankfully, the weather in Penzance was amazing. We were given a prettily furnished and comfortable room, with all the appliances one could hope for. Staff were friendly and I was glad for the free wi-fi!

The Guest House is just off the seafront and a 10 minute walk from resturant food. The breakfast is self service in your own room with a toaster and egg cooker. Huge variety of continental breakfast items to choose from. Although the large room and bathroom were starting to look tired, the value for money more than compensated. The proprietor... More

What a wonderful surprise I found in Penzance, Cornwall in the Duporth Guest House. It started with Steve, our host...and maybe owner?, of the little hotel that could. Steve met us (my family) downstairs. He seemed to know us each by name before we had been properly introduced. He was cordial and warm...an old friend waiting to happen. Of course,... More

The owners here are so welcoming and friendly and they provided us with more than we had requested for dairy and gluten free requirements. They also gave us some great tips for where to eat and visit in and around Penzance. The room was quite small but we've stayed in smaller and had a sea view! The building and furnishings... More

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for just one night on a B&B basis It's a lovely Victorian property in a quiet street just a 2 minute walk to the front and in walking distance of some great pubs and eateries. The room we had was spotless clean as was the en-suite and very comfortable, the continental breakfast is all... More

Most of my travels in UK, other than family, have been in B&B's. This was the first time in a guest house. Guess I am spoilt by having my breakfast cooked for me in B&B. Continental style breakfast was in the room, so did not meet other guests, which was sad. The breakfast was ample. The host and hostess were... More

Just a 2-minute walk from Penzance seafront, I had a lovely room with a view over Mounts Bay. Breakfast in the room was sensational, and the croissants to die for! Easy access to town (about 10 minutes stroll). Staff were very helpful, recommending local sightseeing, restaurants.
