'Total price' of family rooms does not include kids, who are charged £20-25 each per night at the B&B! Therefore a seemingly competitive £55 room can become a very uncompetitive £105! The first we knew of this was on arrival, when we were rudely told that this is covered by the standard terms and conditions. A subsequent very careful look... More

My boyfriend and I came to the Carson House for Valentine's Day. The price, considering it is in Penzance, was fabulous. I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, so I was not sure what to expect. Rob and Belinda were absolutely lovely. Real gems. They made us feel completely welcome and at home. Their Cornish breakfast was... More

I booked 4 rooms at the Carnson House B & B in January for my husband's birthday and the whole family came with us. We were welcomed by the owner and shown to our rooms which were cosy and nicely decorated. Our room, a family one, comprised if two areas, one with a double bed and the other a single... More

My wife organised 4 rooms between 7 of us for my birthday holiday. There is no parking for the accommodation but if you park 2 and 3 streets before it, there is ample parking that is FREE! The accommodation is next door to a pub! yay ! " THE ONE AND ALL"! Our room was massive and cosy and very... More

I stayed overnight on Tuesday 4th November 2014, having booked the room on that morning. I had complex travel arrangements the next day as I was visiting the Scillies for a day trip and wasn't sure I could connect up with the last train home on my return. Rob and Belinda took it all in their stride and arranged for... More

Rob and Belinda were friendly and helpful hosts. Rob allowed us to use the microwave on our first evening and helped with the luggage. Breakfast was very good. The B&B is located opposite the train station and in the High Street; therefore convenient if you travel by train. However, there is no parking available and we had to park our... More

As we used the train, 4 of us just needed a couple of rooms for the weekend, in a clean / tidy and functional B&B and we got it right, also was a good base to explore Penzance from. All rooms very well presented (try not to get room at the front) others very quiet. Everyone very polite, breakfast excellent... More

Stayed there this weekend, you could not have asked for more. Rob and Belinda were the perfect hosts. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful Cornish full breakfast, and was thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely return, and recommend staying there. Although we came by car, we managed to park round the corner, although it is directly opposite the station... More

Having read other reviews of this b&b we booked for 2 nights and were not disappointed. Belinda and Rob are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional. (Cleaned in a miraculous flash whilst we were having breakfast so we came back to an amazingly fresh room!) The sausages and bacon at breakfast weren't to my taste but... More
